4 mana do absolutely nothing for at least 2 turns feels unplayable at times. Especially in this economy

@@Dunsie it isnt really 4 mana do nothing though, you flash it at the end of your opponents turn so the first discount is applied right when it hits yours, and you were going to hold that mana going into the opponents turn anyways because its a control deck

It's really funny that, and I don't blame LVD for doing this, people refer to White Suns Twilight as "A wrath that can make tokens" when it's actually a token producer that can wrath the board. Like it's baseline is making tokens and it just so happens to be much better as a board wipe with kicker.

Finale of Revelation would be a good one for this deck. If you're casting big X spells for just their pips, you could do a Finale for 10+ to refill your hand and untap your lands to cram everything into 1 big turn. That setup would probably favor a Robbery finish over the White Sun + Time Stop finish. Whether that's better or worse probably depends on the matchup.

Why play anoint with affliction in decks that don’t care about poison?
@abelk.johnsen3099 сағат бұрын
Because even without the poison mechanic it efficiently answers many recursive threats in the meta, as well as the heartfire hero, as well as any noncopy token, such as the Annex demon

Is Timestop bugged on arena? It shouldn't exile itself. When it resolves to End the Turn, it's no longer on the stack. If it was, it would be a paradox and couldn't resolve, and would draw the game. When it resolves and goes to the gy it Exiles the stack.
@abelk.johnsen3099 сағат бұрын
Im not super well-versed in MTG rules, but end turn cards do indeed exile the stack, including themselves: it will still be on the stack as its rules text takes effect.
@OdinMagnus8 сағат бұрын
@abelk.johnsen309 according to rules 608.2n "As the final party of an instant or sorcery spell's resolution, the spell is put into its owner's graveyard. So in other words it would be put into the graveyard as it's ending the turn. It's not on the stack. Maybe it can't do both at the same time on arena? Maybe it's counting it as a timing issue?
@OdinMagnus8 сағат бұрын
@@abelk.johnsen309 ok, nevermind. The rulings on the Foundation version says to "exile this spell"

Nice deck but sadly its unplayable in todays meta. Its incredibly weak against bounce decks wich are 50% of the field.(and very luck dependent on hyper aggro decks, if you dont draw the lockdown youre dead). apparatus basically is never sticking for me, either im too rushed to be able to play it, or it gets bounced immediately.
