Thank you for this video I am in Texas right now dealing with a bunch of fallen trees and limbs and I have to do this on my own. I have a good manual pole saw. but I wish I had a teacher like you here. Thank you.

Thank you for watching. Barnel usa is a great pole saw.

Why are you not using the 3 cut technique on large, heavy branches?! Your last cut ripped the bark below because of the weight. Supposed to cut 1/3 below out from the tree, then remove the long branch, then cut the rest off at the proper angle. That is ugly, and can introduce disease, pests and improper healing which shortens the life of the tree.

Because it was a tree we were taking out not trimming
@WeezieV Жыл бұрын
@@mariosaenzlandscapingservi6786 thanks for clarifying. Some of the cuts looked so good I figured it was a trim job.

Since the top tube is the weakest, I suggest you extend the lowest tubes first to retain rigidity.

@@coollasice4175 Thats because the longer you extend the pole the floppier it gets.

You certainly didn’t need it extended that long, And it looks like the fellow is new with this, put pressure dragging it back then relax to save yourself

Great quick summary. I'm always getting the saw caught in the cut trying to clean it up after the barber chair. Any tips on how to keep the saw from getting stuck, or freeing it after? Getting it stuck 20 feet up is not fun!
@MrCheezyCrack Жыл бұрын
Don't push down on the saw, let the curve of the saw and gravity do the work. It takes longer, but it won't get stuck thereby being faster.

Hi for home use is fisker 14ft good or Jamison 16ft?. Fisker has the prunner a plus. The other one is a beast.

@@mariosaenzlandscapingservi6786 bought the middle fisker ok for home use. Its hard to cut on the full x tension think it's a 16.. I like it. Helps a lot on small to sm med tree. The rope pruner is good for far bushes but gets tiring.

If im getting paid by the hour then this is the way id go but if its per job best believe id use a chainsaw, electric pole saw or a recip saw with a 12" pruning blade and a ladder. These come in handy higher up and i know you were teaching him but as low as those were a ladder and a recip would make quick work of those.
