This was four years ago and, obviously, you have a newer channel, but I work with young kids too and I'm older, at 52, but I was also a late skateboarder in my 30's and now I've been following parkour for a couple years; Storror Mondays are one of the few last good things about Covid Times! So, that you were in Ohio doing this class years ago was really moving to me. I teach in NYC and we don't have anything as cool as you as a guest presenter! Great work with them. I was also quite impressed with their shoulder rolls! One last thought on Parkour as physical education in the smartest sense; I once worked on a project with a contemporary dancer. He was young and kind of difficult as a person, but super, super talented, and he said something to me that completely resonated and I never forgot it. He said, "you start aging when you stop moving". It was so simple but it made total sense, and it's correct. By nature, parkour (and skateboarding) have risk built in to them so it's a combo of movement and judgement and your level of skill. But smart movement is at the core of both, and once we begin to lose that practice, we stop trusting our bodies.

man I want to teach parkour, i used to volunteer at the YMCA for instructing Parkour classes, but it seems like so mush fun to travel around and show and teach people about the sport! I mean this kids were excited and happy about learning something new- you don’t see that very often in high schools
