I love how you explained the proper noun July, and shared how you remember the difference between pronoun and proper noun. I'm sure that made a deep connection for them to remember. Great lesson, great teaching!

I was very impressed with your techniques of pairing and teaching each other. I will have to use that method in my classroom! However, I do think that you should have said the word "aunt" correctly. You know, like ant.

When I was young, we learned that "aunt" was properly pronounced as aunt with a short O sound. Language evolved as "ant" but the proper way is still used in many communities. Also, I'm sure they know how to say it:)
