Teaching Phrasal verbs - Activities

Have you ever had students complaining about phrasal verbs? Most of my students tell me they are the hardest English thing to learn and I can see why! These sneaky little verbs mean one thing when paired with one preposition and a completely different thing when paired with another!

Hi Mary! Thanks for your videos, I was wondering how do you manage "homework", do you assign homework to every student? every class? what do you do with students who aren't following a syllabus? Or in one-to-one lessons? It would be very interesting if you could prepare a video about that! Have a nice weekend!

Sorry for the delay!! I've got ready emails with homework, so I just send them to my students after the lessons (not all lessons). The emails usually come with something for them to read/to watch and exercises (pages that come with the keys, so I don't have to correct them). So if we are studying phrasal verbs, I send them the phrasal verbs email and so on 😊
