Do you use this as a stand alone literature curriculum? My student is already using a literature curriculum but I'd love to use this for other books he reads and also books I read aloud with our kids. Is it possible to just use the book without the videos? Thanks for your insight!

Yes, I use this as a lit. guide for all books. I didn't want to buy a lit. guide for every book, so this helped to eliminate that. Once you get used to asking the questions you can ask them even if you have not read the book. You can use the book without the dvds, but I purchased the DVDs bc I have zero knowledge in having a Socratic discussion and I needed to have a little training. I hope this helps! I am so sorry for this extremely late response. I completely missed it. The Readers are there to guide you if you have not read the book. But I highly suggested reading the book if you are looking for an in depth conversation. It will be worth it! :) Thanks for watching!
