I've been struggling with my hip hinge for so long now and this video helped me perform my first few proper hip hinges with just one drill, thank you!

I never knew how to hinge from these hips. Thankfully I have always drank a LOT of milk so my bones are strong. I know have more movement that I ever have. I can bend so far over and grab so many gallons of milk at the store now in one go.

@muscle and motion - why do people try to address hip hinge deficiency with hip flexor stretches? Surely the only targets for flexibility would be glutes and hamstrings?

You put a yellow line at 0.59. The problem for me is keeping that line there. Any idea's for this? Would I need a bar towards the front to keep focused there. Mostly I go to much backwards with my glutes.

I would suggest using a mirror or camera side angle to help keep your posture proper when performing the hip hinge. It may also help to know that exercise of the muscle is important too in maintaining proper posture. Not just stretching. This is because in order to maintain proper posture certain muscles have to be strong enough in order to handle the stretch weight. Try incorporating a workout program that targets all of your muscle areas each week. Abdominal, legs, glutes, back, chest, and arms. All of these require a certain strength to perform stretches with proper form. Hope this helped!
