What is it about new wine that causes old wine bottles to burst? I thought you could just recycle any wine into any wine bottles?

It's a parable about the difference between old ways of the old testament which is old wine in old wineskins and the new testament is like new wine that has to be put in new wineskins or it won't work trying to mix the new with the old... wineskin is perfect because it contains the wine/fruit which is the blood or secret truth to salvtion and redemption and resurrection ..theres layers of truth behind the living words of jesus

Something about this interpretation doesn't make sense in light of Luk 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. So you wouldn't want to try Jesus' way after you tried the Pharisee way? I'm a big Chosen fan but I think they missed on this one.
