I loved how they showed St Joseph in this show. For to long he has been ignored in the church even-though he was loved greatly by Jesus just as much as he loved Mary.

St Joseph is the main Saint of all

The Church honours St Joseph with protodulia, first honour. His name was eventually added to the Roman Canon after the Blessed Virgin Mary. He has two feast days: 19 March and 01 May, the former being a solemnity, a feast day with a”the highest rank. 😊

It is a beautiful thought that Mary saved her last contribution to the Gospel especially for Magdalene - in an encounter that takes place long after the resurrection and ascension.. It seems very plausible to me that she preferred to share this "woman's secret" with Magdalene rather than with the disciples. And with that she gives Magdalene the highest recognition.
