boiling point of olive oil is around 299 degree celsius and boiling point of water is 100 degree celsius so that means the olive oil wouldn't enter your pores with the steam to clear it unless u apply it on ur face the water limited the temperature of the olive oil and it wouldn't reach its boiling point and become gas state
