Thanks Jansen, top ideas. The difference with mine is the tray. I have used a piece of gutter, the square type, got it from a skip so was free!!! also I fitted mine on the front not the back, also have fitted mine with gas rams to hold the box open, I don't use a seat back, but, I have had some nasty cracks across my fingers when the top comes down in the wind, the final mod was the catches, with the rams the lid sometimes comes open (old style box) so I have fitted 2 over centre latches, top tips as always Tight lines mate, see you on the water sometime

It was originally a bag for an Abu 7000 multiplier reel, but I really can’t remember where it came from…. Jansen
