Been using exact same rig body for years to great effect and always with that Gemini premium pulley. Latest PB Bass was this rig on a 60G weight and a No 4 Kamasan B983 . Like the look of that offset circle hook will try next

Really impressive simplicity! I've got a venue close by I will definitely give it a go on in April. I've converted my old fox spod rod as a light bass rod. One thing I Jansen could I ask being fairly new to sea fishing Would be really interested to see a short video on what you do with your multipliers after a session! I'm coming from carp fishing & just learning to use them on a playing field & really wouldn't know what to do to keep them from corrosion Kind regards Ben

Quick swill under cold water tap towel dry Dont submerge Dont use any detergent just cold water

Hi Ben, as has already been mentioned, give your reels a swill off under the tap just to remove any salty residue. If they get muddy or messed up with bait juices, I like to use an old toothbrush with a tiny dab of washing up liquid. Make sure they are rinsed off and dried out fully before returning to their bags. Hope that helps. Jansen.

This is the exact rig i taught myself to make for fishing close im off the rocks and cliffs for rockling and rough fish on the bottom.. i use a different hook as i use a size 1 bendy aberdeen.. baited with rag tipped with squid.. and sometimes a few beads just behind for bit of noise.. and weight with a homemade rottom bottom weight.... 🥰

In fact i got a running up an over verstion of this rig.. its exactly the sane. Just clipsdown as an upnover for targeting bass and turbot..

Great video. Would you still use circle hook and dongle with ragworm bait?

Yes- I’d head hook the worms and use some very fine latex elastic to secure them to the dongle

Yes, though it’s not entirely necessary when casting small leads on soft rods. A mono shock leader allows for fast knots when rigging up on the beach.
