yeah this is what tsb was lacking before, Axel is great as a strategist and map reader but he got overwhelmed in combat, leading to him cannot read the situation to react accordingly. Selen should has been the igl while Axel can get the time to cooking up his strat and think about the long game

Selen is great at catching the timing and her quick thinking increase the chance to make their plan work, while Axel is good at creating a plan and decrease the risks to fked it up. That's their strong point but Axel try to handle everything. He got so overwhelmed trying to solve everything that he always slow to give out the order, make Selen who really good at reading the situation sometimes tempting to take the action on her own since she see the chance. That make her action has less chance to success since she doesn't have anyone to back her up, or they will miss their chance to take action It is what it is tho. They still have a great time with alot of good memories. It just a bit of a pity that they didn't split the role sooner

@@sorakey4005 they did give responsibility to each other. During fight, Selen is the IGL. During positioning, Axel is the IGL. RPR even mentioned that Axel need to follow Selen during fight and not make his own decision, because Selen is more expertise on fighting. During the Vsaikyou tournament day though, I feel like Selen did not use her IGL role because they camped hard, or die fast before making any decisions.

I once said it on another video during Vsaikyou, and I will say it again. Selen should have been put as a sniper because she can aim and react faster than Altaire. She just need to give a day to train with sniping and she's good to go. the VirtuaReal tournament has proven Selen sniping skill. Such a shame they never try it out during scrims.

Nah Selen is absolutely a tracking kind of player. She herself said so. Not gonna discount her sniping skills but Selen's frag is absolutely nutz. Its just too bad in Vsaikyo she didnt get the chance to teamfight as everybody knows rotation and positioning and the best players of teams are also on par with Selen or better with more tourney experience.

Selen's role is still best at fragger compared to TSB's members. Also remember that virtuareal's median skill is lower than vsaikyou as selen has said that the only team she's cautious about is aza's team, while in vsaikyou she keep track of 5 teams at least. Against veteran vsaikyou putting altare or axel on fragger is just a nightmare.

I dont follow Selen religiously but i have never seen Selen prefer to snipe. She is always using r99 or r301 or shotguns early game. I think she even said she prefers mid/close combat. Altaire was great as a sniper. He had the aim but not the gamesense it was the perfect position for him.

Due to team composition points system you literally can't put Altaire who play as the 3rd member in any other position, as he will melt instantly in VSaikyo confrontation. Altaire did more than you can bargained for as a 3rd player tbh. Their downfall in VS really comes down to Axel's lack of tourney experience as an IGL and Selen not being more vocal on some of Axel's decision as Axel's is easily hot headed going into a fight they were not supposed to. Since VS is really punishing on this kind of behaviour.

If you're talking about why they have these opportunities to shoot shoot pew pew oh shit heal it's because of good positioning as well. Can't back up and heal if your back isn't clear or if you're out in the open. If you're not behind cover, then instead of focusing on each other, your opponents try for you instead. For example with the win in the first game, the last minute was basically: 500P's mid-to-long ranged loadout allowed them to take pot shots from afar on every team, ultimately pressuring the final team from afar while sending only one to vertically flank them and decimate them. For the punching match win, it was purely just Selen's ability to avoid aggro most of the entire match, at the end even hiding in a bin and using her character's ability to become intangible to avoid ring damage, despite everyone else dying from it-- not to mention that BonBon threw a bunch of players into the sea with his sweeping car motions as the zone closed in before that moment, so they had less competition. Lastly, in the sniper match, it was totally positioning. Both to avoid the majority of aggro and to consistently have Selen line up collaterals on clumped together, hiding teams, as well as Bobon's ability to consistently crack enemy shields and pressure them to screw off, resulting in them looking elsewhere for kills.
