Apart from Harry Plummer leaving NZR to France they've set some solid foundations for the next 3 years with all the debutants introduced this season. 2024 debutants (Wallace Sititi, Peter Lakai, Ruben Love, Cortez Ratima, Noah Hotham, Pasilio Tosi, George Bell, Sam Darry, Billy Proctor). Also considering the guys they've had around the camps as injury cover during the season (Chay Fihaki, Du'Plessis Kirifi, AJ Lam, Fabian Holland, Christian Lio-Willie, Brad Slater, Oliver Haig, Brodie McAlister) they're setting the groundwork for this World Cup cycle. For Razor's first season in charge 9 wins and 4 losses so far is not too bad considering those losses were against high calibre opponents and winnable games. It hasn't been an easy transition for Razor by no means, but test matches are never easy, and the All Blacks are the easiest team to rise for considering their history of success, everybody gets up to beat the AB's they are the ultimate target for any test nation it's still one of the greatest achievements defeating them at any given time. I feel this coaching group has had a taste of bitter pills and sweet success and it will bode well for the future of this team. I feel they need to bring Joseph Manu to New Zealand rugby to fast track his development also the return of Leicester Fainga'anuku will be huge as he always plays his best for Razor. Go well against Italy never underestimate any opposition and respect them just as you would any of the top tier teams.

Nothing wrong with selecting them. They are both playing well and will play well for the ABs They deserve it, And Ratima has fallen off a bit.. @@larrytasker7043 Cane is playing good. TJ has been pure rubbish all year, especially Bledisloe II. I like Razor, he’s a really good Super Rugby coach. But he’s clearly out of his depth at the moment and I hope through experience, he’ll be a better international coach. The decision to play the same team to make amends from the France game is an emotional decision. We seem to have lost the courage, tactics and strategic prowess under this coaching group (maybe why Leon left), which is an indication of why we’re losing big games. Wouldn’t it have been better to select some fringe players to learn more about them, give them valuable experience to inform future selections against such opposition? You can only learn so much on the training pitch. Not selecting them indicates a lack of trust in the wider playing group - but I guess that’s been the real issue about this coaching group, the selections have not been upto AB standard. If the ABs don’t beat Italy by 50 this weekend with this team (Georgia pushed Italy) it would be a disappointing way to end the tour.

TJ and Cane are sentimental selections. They aren't available next year so why pick them? Wasted opportunity to develop younger players. I thought Razor was a ruthless selector and coach, I was clearly wrong. What's wrong with him he talk to much hes stubborn he think that he is bigger than the game if NZ rugby want to be a power house again they should think in another direction pick the correct players for the correct positions Rico will be in his dreams never be a centre as well as jordie there's no punching in the midfield I said a week before we will loose against France and so it happened what went wrong razors decision making was awful he is and will be only a good super 14 coach nothing els. Unless he start to listen to the advise he use to get on breakdown and all over NZ but no he is the man we lost that game due to the bad offloads no punching in the centre positions. We can win and wil win comfortably against Italy but the problems are and will not be solved we will loose against the bigger teams as long as razor is stubborn.
