Mind begs the question, why did the jews come and settle in yathrib. It was mentioned in their scriptures that their last saviour will be born in Mecca and later would migrate to Yathrib. They were all sitting their waiting for him from generations. The Jewish settlement in Madina(Yathrib) was in accordance with the Jewish prediction that last Prophet will be born in Madina. They had a belief that last prophet will be born in the progeny of Issac. But on the contrary last Prophet was born in the progeny of Ismael. When Prophet Muhammad PBUH migrated from Mecca to Madina, a new force emerged in the shape of Islam. There was every danger of invasion from Meccan's pagons. So an agreement was made with the Jews of Madina to defend the new state of Madina. But the Jews became part of conspiracy with Meccan's pagans. It was a severe Jewish offence. So Allah commanded to exile the hidden ally of Meccan's pagons. Therefore in accordance with the commandments of Allah, the Jewish tribes were exiled forever from Madina. The State of Madina was cleared from the internal enemy.

Ok - this is why it is so hard to have conversations with Muslims. They don't have any significant scholarship as one understands it today. Jews had no such prediction about a prophet coming from Medina (show me the quote in Jewish sources). Finally do you really think that the Jews should have just given up their 1000 years old faith? Who decided that the other was the enemy? Duh - Islam, jizyah or die. Sorry Jews. By the way Jew not only rejected Muhammad but they also rejected the man god of Christians. Despite apparently acting as neutral, yet its very clear that this video is biased. For example, the reason behind each attack on a Jewish tribe is dealt with suspicion with the justification of that ''the earliest biography of Muhammad was written nearly 200 years after he died", yet without these early sources you wouldn't have known those events either. By this logic, we can consider each and every military attack in history as an evil action if we omitted the causes. In the very same early sources, the treachery of Qurayza had been mentioned in details yet you avoided to mention any of them so that it comes out at the end as a kind of Jewish tragedy, though Sa'd who judged them heavily relied on the Jewish law found in Deuteronomy 20:13-14.

No, a historical document should have contemporary external sources corroborating what that document says, that is how history is determined, not just by one single source. Deuteronomy 20:13-14 what's a command given to the Israelites during a time of war, it wasn't meant to be used as a general Jewish law. I find it hypocritical that people like you justify similar verses in the Quran as contextual during the time of warfare in Muhammad's time but then apply double standards for the similar verses here.

@@ahmadumeta4 Alright, please show me the external contemporary sources that mentioned anything about the Bani Qurayzah. You know that without the Islamic sources you would've never known that such tribe ever existed. Actually the law found in Deuteronomy 20:13-14 is the most merciful one, which if treachery took place outside of the Promised Land; however if inside, nothing that breath shall live. So everyone must be grateful to Sa'd ibn Mu'adh whom the angels carried his bier for choosing the most merciful biblical punishment for traitors. Had it been the Prophet who judged, he would've most likely exiled them as he did with Bani Nadir, but Sa'd solely realized that if this happened, another catastrophe for Muslims will happen. As the battle of the Trench would have never taken place if it was not for the schemes of the exiles of Bani Nadir, who offered all their produce in Khaybar to Ghatafan to join the confederates and urged Quraysh to invade Medina along with them, and it was themselves who urged Bani Qurayzah to breach their pact with the Prophet. Thus, Sa'd realized that execution is the only solution, as he learnt from the past.

Biographies are secondary sources in looking at historical events or people. The first biography of Muhammad was only 125 years after his death. However, this biography is based preponderantly on primary sources (sayings and stories of his narrated by his companions -- known as ahaadeeth) that were contemporary to Muhammad during his lifetime. From a historiographical perspective, that's as reliable a basis for an accurate biography as we have seen for any Abrahamic religious figure or other medieval figures for that matter.

CORRECTION CORRECTION CORRECTION to the bani quraidha story you almost had it right if for not one missing detail: sa'ad ibn Muadh did not decide to slaughter the Jews out of hatred or tribalism or anything, he JUDGED THE JEWS PUNISHMENT FROM THEIR OWN BOOK, he asked them to read paragraphs from their own book what happens to any Jewish enemy that they conquer so they read to him (Deuteronomy 20) and he told them (this is your punishment from your own book, (that's why they gave up without a fight easily) because they couldn't disobey their own book or ruling. this is the part everyone leaves out on purpose or not. you live by the sword you die by the sword and they respected that, Deuteronomy 20 is as follows for those who didn't know. verses 13 - 14 - 15 is where the heart of the ruling lays anyone is welcome to reply but I wish for the video to be updated as I see it as an important factor in the ruling by Sa'ad ibn Muadh alone their chosen ally and not prophet Mohummed. Deuteronomy 20 20 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. 2 When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army. 3 He shall say: “Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. 4 For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” 5 The officers shall say to the army: “Has anyone built a new house and not yet begun to live in it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else may begin to live in it. 6 Has anyone planted a vineyard and not begun to enjoy it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else enjoy it. 7 Has anyone become pledged to a woman and not married her? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else marry her.” 8 Then the officers shall add, “Is anyone afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home so that his fellow soldiers will not become disheartened too.” 9 When the officers have finished speaking to the army, they shall appoint commanders over it. 10 When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. 11 If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. 12 If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. 13 When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. 14 As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies. 15 This is how you are to treat all the cities that are at a distance from you and do not belong to the nations nearby. 16 However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. 17 Completely destroy[a] them-the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites-as the Lord your God has commanded you. 18 Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God. 19 When you lay siege to a city for a long time, fighting against it to capture it, do not destroy its trees by putting an ax to them, because you can eat their fruit. Do not cut them down. Are the trees people, that you should besiege them?[b] 20 However, you may cut down trees that you know are not fruit trees and use them to build siege works until the city at war with you falls. thank you

@@thecritiquer9407 I think what God was thinking when He made Islam is that its a faith meant to be given to lost people so they may be saved, much like the faiths that preceded it. The fact that no major Christian Apostles during their 'peak' in the 1st century(such as James, Paul etc.) spread the Good News to Arabia(possibly because God didn't intend them to) as well as Jews not necessarily being the most 'preaching-to-pagans-oriented' faith, meant that God had to make a way for the largely pagan Arabia, thus to them, Islam was given. In this case, it wouldn't really matter even if the Quran copy pastes other previous books; as long as they are saved by turning to God(which Islam managed to achieve). Also, I think the very fact that their religion refers to previous faiths, is even what ties the 3 together as opposed to each just teaching their own agenda. Take the passage in Genesis 21:17-21 where Ishmael(ancestor of Muhammad & Arabs) is blessed and told he will have a great nation. In other words, a section where the Bible alludes to Arabs. So I believe this cycle of one faith being proved by another is what validates all of them as the different ways we can approach God.

[229] This equates to approximately 22-23% of the total strength of foreign volunteer forces and 2.5-2.6% of the total strength of the German armed forces for the period from 1939 to 1945. As for the percentage of Muslim and non-Muslim volunteers in each national category, then it was next. Among Arab volunteers there were 100% of them, among Indians - about 70%, among representatives of the Balkan peoples - about 42%, and among volunteers from citizens of the USSR - about 20%. This number of volunteers could staff an average of 34-35 German infantry divisions or divisional-type formations (see Table 4). In fact, the following units and formations of the German armed forces were staffed by Muslim volunteers, either entirely or together with German (or other foreign) personnel. Arab volunteers (about 5 thousand people in total) were part of one regimental-type special forces unit, as well as 5 battalions (either separate or as part of larger units). Indian Muslim volunteers (about 2 thousand in total) were part of about 10 of the 15 companies of the 950th Indian Motorized Regiment. Balkan Muslims were distributed as follows: Albanians (about 60-65 thousand people in total) were part of 4 rifle regiments, 4 “fascist” police battalions and 3 territorial police regiments. Subsequently, most of these units were disbanded, and their personnel went to staff the 21st Albanian SS Division “Skan-derbeg”. Bosnian Muslims (about 55-60 thousand people in total) initially served either in the armed forces of the Independent State of Croatia or were part of the local Croat-Muslim militia (regiment/brigade). Subsequently, all these units were disbanded, and their personnel went to staff two Bosnian SS divisions: the 13th “Handschar” and the 23rd “Kama”. In addition, one battalion of Bosnian Muslims operated on the Eastern Front as part of the Croatian Legion from 1941 to 1943. And finally, the largest category - Soviet Muslims - manned the following units and formations: Volunteers from the republics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan (“Turkestanis”) (about 180 thousand people in total) were part of 26 reinforced field, reserve, labor and utility battalions; 111 marching, economic, sapper, railway and road construction companies; 303rd Infantry Regiment, 162nd Turkic Infantry Division; and one battle group (regiment) of the East Turkic SS unit. North Caucasian volunteers (about 28-30 thousand people in total) were part of 9 reinforced field battalions; one battalion of the Highlander special forces unit; 3 sapper, railway and road construction companies; 2 serf regiments; 1st battle group of the Caucasian SS unit; and a separate Sonderkommando "Shamil", which consisted of three groups up to a platoon strength. Azerbaijani volunteers (about 25-35 thousand people in total) were part of 15 reinforced field battalions; 1 battalion of the Special Forces "Highlander"; 21 marching, construction and economic companies; 314th Infantry Regiment, 162nd Turkic Infantry Division; and 1 battle group of the Caucasian SS unit. [231] Volga-Tatar volunteers (about 40 thousand people in total) were part of 7 reinforced field battalions; 15 economic, sapper, railway and road construction companies; and 1 battle group of the East Turkic SS unit. Crimean Tatar volunteers (about 15-20 thousand people in total) were part of 14 self-defense companies; 8 battalions of auxiliary order police; 1 mountain ranger regiment (then brigade); 1st battle group of the Eastern Turkic SS unit; and also - as “voluntary assistants” - the 35th SS Police Grenadier Division. After the Jews' negotiations with Muhammad were rejected, there were only two options: convert to Islam or execution. Muhammad appointed Sa'd ibn Mu'adh as the judge to decide the sentence. Despite being wounded and near death, he challenged Jewish representatives to debate whether they should embrace Islam to save their lives, families, and property. The Jews refused to believe in the Prophet of the Arabs, citing their status as 'God's chosen people.' Sa'd ibn Mu'adh responded, "Does this mean you prefer to die and live in Hell forever?" The Jews argued that they were the only ones created with a soul, unlike other creatures. "Our death is the path to Paradise." Finally, they decided to be executed.

May Allah have mercy on Saad ibn Muadh. He was struck by an arrow during the battle in which all the polytheists united against the Muslims. The Jews aided the polytheists, thinking that they would eliminate the Muslims. However, Allah sent a wind that drove the polytheists away after weeks of siege and hunger, during which the Muslims remained steadfast. Saad ibn Muadh prayed to Allah not to take his life until he witnessed the punishment of the Jews. Allah answered his prayer, and Saad himself passed judgment on the Jews. Just a few hours later, Saad ibn Muadh passed away. May Allah have mercy on him.

The Banu Qurayza had broken their treaty of non-hostility with the Muslims at the height of the Battle of the Trench, and intended to attack them from within, but before they could, the siege on Madina suddenly ended, leaving the Qurayza alone and caught red-handed. The prophet Muhammad pbuh told the Banu Qurayza to pick someone that should give them their punishment. They chose Sa’d ibn Mu’adh al-Ansari who was an ex Jew and an ally with the Banu Qurayza, and agreed that they would follow his ruling. Al ansari was injured in the war and was on his deathbed as a result. He said that the punishment should be given according to mosaic law for the Jewish Banu Qurayza, so he said that all combatant men should ❌ and all women and children should be captives. The reason why they were captives is that this was a common theme of ancient warfare as there was no bread winner for the family. In Islam, captives were treated very well compared to how they were treated under other religions at the time.

Also, the speaker seems to keep saying we don’t really know and there isn’t many records when anyone who followed the Quran have a meticulously documented record of everything about the prophet and about the historical events that took place. This is the most documented period of the religion of Islam on earth during and after the prophet Muhammad.
@Shukry2 ай бұрын
One last thing, Muhammad did not slaughter all the me in any of the times they surrendered. He killed the leaders and those who were responsible for breaking the pact. With Qurayza, after surrendering, they swore they had no gold and the prophet told them you will all be killed if they hid it. In a short time, the gold was found hidden and they thought Muhammad will follow through and kill them all. He only killed the leaders behind these continued lies and deceit and spared the rest. A sizable portion of all of these tribes converted to Islam before confrontations and after. After all, many of them were waiting for a prophet to show up in the lands of Medina, specifically known in their texts, the old testament, in the area of Sela.
@Shukry2 ай бұрын
Lastly, why couldn’t Muhammad convince the Jews that he was that prophet? Well, he tried, and just like they did with Jesus, they rejected him although all the signs matched. The reason? Arrogance and thinking he would be a prophet from the children of Israel.

"So a Jewess presented him at Khaybar with a roasted sheep which she had poisoned. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ate of it and the people also ate. He then said: Take away your hands (from the food), for it has informed me that it is poisoned. Bishr ibn al-Bara' ibn Ma'rur al-Ansari died. So he (the Prophet) sent for the Jewess (and said to her): What motivated you to do the work you have done? She said: If you were a prophet, it would not harm you; but if you were a king, I should rid the people of you." (Sunan Abi Dawud 4512) Guess what? Bishr just ate like he did and died immediately, while the Prophet survived and lived almost 3 years after this event, conquered Mecca during that time and most of Arabia had converted to Islam, while the Jewish splendor of Khaybar had never returned. No matter how much you try harder, the turn of events will never suit your wishful dreams. Keep fabricating more stories lol.

@@faithfulsoldier519 There is also another hadith that Muhammad stated "The Prophet (ﷺ) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, "O `Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison." (Sahih Al Bukhari 4428). So he kind of accepted he died from that poison. In another hadith Aisha said “The Prophet died lying between my breast and my collarbone. I will never feel bad about anyone having a painful death after what I saw the Prophet suffer.” So, according to these hadiths, Muhammad probablly waited for to other guy to eat, then when he didn't see any reaction from them he assumed it's okay to eat and start chewing the meat. After he saw the struggle of other guys, he spitted the meat, but poison was already entered his system. Other guys has ate big chunk of the poison, while Muhammad was not. That may be lead to the liver or other organ failure over time and caused slow death. And again according to these hadiths, that was also Muhammad's belief. So Jewess wasn't all wrong.

This video is a bit misleading. It clearly indicates that the Prophet Muhammad was generally fair and just in his dealings with the Jewish tribes of Medina but then makes it seem like he randomly decides to go after the last Jewish tribe for no reason or just wanted to consolidate power. In reality, the Prophet was wise and had a good reason for every decision he made. He found out that Banu Qurayza was planning to support his Qurayshi enemies from Mecca by opening a pathway through their lands to let the Quraysh bypass the fortifications and trench around Medina and assassinate him. In regards to Angel Gabriel, he is the Archangel of Revelation and served as the messenger between God and His previous prophets and other important devout figures (like the Virgin Mary) on Earth just like with Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon them all). To damage what a Westerner regards as a symbol is, in this way of thinking, to literally attack the divine. In Islam, which means 'submission', the Koran is not a symbol but an actual embodiment of the holy. To me, Islam is in many regards both loathsome and dangerous. It denigrates women to an extraordinary degree, urges hatred and destruction of those who do not submit, and allows for child marriage. The prophet Muhammad, who is regarded as the model for humanity, was a slave trader, warlord, and in modern terms a paedophile. ""When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess, and he drives out many nations before you-the Hethites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and powerful than you- 2 and when the Lord your God delivers them over to you and you defeat them, you must completely destroy them."" Maybe to stop this, since Jews started it, the final act of revange should be the annihilation Jews. Since their small population is easier to manage. We have had near success attempt in WW2, so not hard to be done. But all of that is based on your logic, which I totally disagree with.

The appointment of Sa'ad didn't come from The Prophet. But from the Jewish people themselves. Arguing that "we will have our matter settled not according to Islam but according to Jewish tradition" Which was why they chose Sa'ad who was their fellow Jewish man. But unfortunately for them. Sa'ad gave the Torah's punishment. Betrayal is punishable by unalive. That's why the massunalivement happened.

At the time of Mohamed the Arabian peninsula was largely settled by Jewish and Christian populations, living in their own towns, and Mohamed was aware that his audience is about half Jewish and half Christian, and he tried to appeal to familiar themes for both groups. Hence Islam and the Quran is very similar to Judaism and Christianity, with some curious differences, such as in Islam Mary Magdelene is also a full fledged disciple of Jesus and a prophet. European scholars for a long time argued that these differences are due to Mohamed misinterpreting the bible, but in fact Islam put women on equal footing with men in these matters. Also the story of Joseph and Potifar appears in the Quran, in a slightly different, more feminine inspired erotic interpretation. My favorite tradition about Mohamed is that once he woke up in morning and noticed that a cat was sleeping on his robes, he rather cut off his robes than disturbing the cat.

If many Christian settlers had lived in Saudi Arabia back in the day, they likely followed Christianity due to its missionary focus, as stated in Mark 16:15 - He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." and there's no mary magdalene in islam, the quran only mention Mary the mother of prophet isa alaihissalaam. and prophet muhammad is unlettered, as stated in the quran chapter 29:48-49.

The three tribes did nothing but what most of their older tribes did before, attempt to kill the prophets, reject the new laws, accept them only if they are wealthy, powerful, and of the blood of their kings. Those three tribes initially moved to Arabia because they believed in the coming of a new prophet (who's name is Ahmed - Mohamed - i.e. the one for which we are grateful). They believed to find their messiah (the Antichrist), and threatened the pagans with their great status and their coming prophet, only to find out that he was a Banu Ishmael (Son of Ismael) and not a Banu Israel (Son of Israel - Jacob) and rejected him because of that. One by one, they violated the treaties, seen themselves as betters, followed ego and arrogance, practiced ritual magic, and rejected the new religion because of its justice, equality, and their hatred for Jibreel (Gabriel). Those people were the most educated, and the most blinded. They edited their scriptures orally based on how wealthy or socially important the culprit is, and when faced with swords, they preferred to hide than to face their opponents like men. Most of them chose to be cowards, and died like cowards. For he who loves God and his angels, will accept all his words, his scriptures and his laws. He who believes in the true God, the one and only, will love, accept and heed Gabriel, Mikael, and all the angels, as well as Adam, Enoch, Noah, Ibraheem, Lot, Isaac, Ismael, Jacob, Joseph, Benyamin, the 10 other brothers of the twelves, Moses, Aaron, Ayoub, John, Elias, Jesus, Mohamed, and all the other messengers, peace be upon them all. For they are only prophets sent with a warning, and for they seek no money, no wealth, no status, but remembrance of the word of God, and spread justice and faith as mercy for humanity, before the last day comes, and no soul is saved.

That makes sense because you're a Christian who believes in a triune God of which Jesus is one person alongside the Father and Holy Spirit. Even though Jews don't agree with everything in Islam, the most prominent Jewish rabbis and scholars in the past such as Maimonides always believed that Muslims worship the same one God of Abraham as them while they flat out rejected Christianity as mixing in Roman polytheism into a distorted version of Jewish beliefs. We Muslims agree with that perspective somewhat except we differ from them in that we accept Jesus (peace be upon him) as a Prophet and Messiah of God. In short, there's no such thing as Judeo-Christian values as many in the West tend to believe.
