Thank God we got a proper race kit review. Just can't watch all these arrma vehicles anymore. Everybody does these. It just got boring. And considering the outright horrible part support from HHobby in the EU I definetly won't buy an Arrma anymore. As good as the vehicles are - no parts means they are pretty much useless over here. When Arrma belonged to hobbico the Situation was much better. F... off Horizon Hobby!

I'd give 3 stars on the build but not my channel, lol! Definitely not an AE fan boy but you got it mostly right. I still think it's one of the easiest 2wd buggies to drive and work on. Sooo looking forward to racing mine (my area is just starting to ease Covid restrictions)! 👍

Fantastic review - thanks! I actually decided to keep my B6.2 around, but it was a close call… I absolutely love the durability of AE. I would still consider myself a beginner, but I love driving Mod class. So I do crash often and hard, but I still have not broken a single thing on my car (except for the wing of course). This is just awesome and I really wonder how they do it. Greetings from Germany!

The most significant change, the C and D blocks actually work against me for our dirt tracks because the remove rear traction. So on my B6.3D I removed them and installed B6.2 C and D blocks, and 67mm dog bones to get back to the .2 rear geometry. I've yet to run my B6.3 on carpet. If need be Ill make the same change to it with regards to the C and D blocks.

Great review razor, I'm curious as to how it would run with no front sway bar, or with brass under the servo. Maybe you could do a follow up in 3 months?

I just finished my B6.3 a day ago. I went with Reedy 510R ESC, Trinity Certified 17.5, SAVOX 1257TG, ProTek fans, J-Concepts Cargo Net Battery Brace, J-Concept Swaggers in the front, Schumacher’s Cactus in the rear. In love with the car. Took some time. I like the wrap on your motor cables. Can’t see the name clearly, but would love to find it. I weighed in at 1547gm.

Nice review. Wondering what the reason is behind leaving the wings clear on race kits. It seems odd to not paint it but that’s what almost everyone does.
@Heathcliff_hensel3 жыл бұрын
i don't have an exact answer for you but i would think that because wings get destroyed so fast and frequently that they are not worth painting.
@YouSoundButtHurt3 жыл бұрын
Most people do not paint them.
@RazorRC3 жыл бұрын
Less work, less weight, and IMO it’s easier to see what the rear end is doing when your view isn’t obstructed by the wing.
@02semiata3 жыл бұрын
The wings are normally destroyed within a few races

I too wondered this. A personal pet peeve of mine, lol. But my "classic" b44.3 is sporting a clear wing. Lol.

great review and i do agree with mostly everything. love my B6.2 very curious to see if they will have a B7 next year and if the changes would be big enough for me to consider getting one. cougar LD and Xray seem very good as well and interesting. would have liked to try something different than associated. but "we are AE" in south africa

Have you tried the HW G3R 17.5T motor? Has got loads of power. Be interested to see how it compares against the Team Powers.
@rhinusbreedt97723 жыл бұрын
I just got the new team powers myself and im a little dissapointed.. i think the 3rd gen team powers are faster and torqueier than the v4 im running now. Dont get me wrong.. its fast but my reedy fleta and v3 team powers are slightly better. What i do love is that this v4 TP performs well under very little amps.. mine is tuned to 4.2 amps to up the amps barely makes a difference on the analyzer so i have more punch and torque through out my entire race. I have yet to try the trinity x factor.. other than that i have raced every motor out there.

@@rhinusbreedt9772 Have you tried the HW G3R?
@rhinusbreedt97723 жыл бұрын
@@jontytaylor3195 i had the g3r in 13.5 in my b74.1 and it was fast with ridiculously high rpm and kv on the analyzer but i must say the fleta with the ultra torque rotor was very fast and had insane torque.. just made that 4wd even more angrier.. i haven't run the 17.5 g3r or have seen anyone with one here in SA but would love to feel how it performs.. maybe i should try one
@jontytaylor31953 жыл бұрын
@@rhinusbreedt9772 I found the G3R 17.5 was ok testing but performed the best. Lots of torque. Is the Fleta a Muchmore motor?

On high grip surfaces schumacher is easily the top 3 best car because of its low senter of gravity and forward focused weight bias
