My first RC car in 1987. I went to a local track in NW Indiana to watch a race. I was hooked. Walking through the pits, trying to get an idea of what I needed to buy to be reasonably competitive, one car seemed to be dominant. Within 2 weeks, my kit was built, and I was racing. I still have that car, among others. Legend.

Team Associated doesn’t make them like they used to. Just Painted my 1993 RC10T today with JConcepts 1993 Ford F150 RC10T body. Makes me think how times have changed. And how lots of detail have been left our. So legendary to see RC10 buggy’s out there. Piece of RC history

Great video! Takes me back to running Og Rc10 Carbon fibre chassis, Andy's extended A arms, Proline wheels, Delrin gears, Novak esc and a Peak performance 12 turn Beast motor that turned 112,000 rpm on a 7 cell SCR pack! Epic Rc in the 80's lol good times! Thanks for the rewind!

The RC10B2/3 were the sexiest looking ones IMHO. They were an evolution of the original and still looked like a buggy unlike B5 and up. That og RC10 is still a capable Club racer however. Loads of fun.
@s14tat8 жыл бұрын
the og rc10 was so far ahead of its time. it looks like it can still be competitive at the club level today.

Holy hell this is memory lane! I owned the 1984 RC10 when I was a kid! My dad bought a used 84 and a brand new one (85 I believe?) can't remember which model that one was but my dad let me and my brother choose which one we wanted and I chose the 84', glad I did because it was faster! These buggers were quick, I remember trying to attach foam wings to it to see if it would fly, it didn't lol

a bit old but the cab forward design helps get the front end down on the backside of the jumps.. I thought the exact same thing but it made sense to make the car uglier to win, nothing pretty about not winning.

I don't know how but i made it for 14 years running the old gold pan to a graphite chassis RC/10s & 10Ts. That was a big thing if you had one of the fastest rc cars in High School. Now you can buy a stupid fast one assembled w/ telemetry for less.
@shoman24v10 жыл бұрын
Great video! I'm very curious to see how the older RC10's keep up with the newer ones in a Vintage/New race. Maybe to 10 laps with each car and record their times? I would imagine the RC10 World's (and updated re-release) should do fairly well against the B4/B5.
