My first associated buggy… Brought me right back to Queens New York in the 80s charging it off of my dad’s car battery. Wishing there were more daylight hours in the day. All my friends trying to top Each other. I remember names like Pegasus, frog, grasshopper. Tinkering with this little marvel probably influenced me to become an engineer today. Thank you associate it for all the great memories… 🏁

@@ALLOFTHEBOOST It's all got a bit silly in the last few years with prices. They are good but not that good.Back in 2006 I got a brand new in box Tamiya Dyna Storm with the plastic seal on it for £160. I bid for it as well. Imagine that now!

@@tomhunter3075 yeh it has for sure. But yeh it's like everything, prices go up for collectables. 2006 is a lifetime ago, so I would think a nib dyna storm be 10x now. I don't certainly pay those huge prices for those cars. I do have xmaxx and some arrmas that I can get good use out of. These companies gotta keep making money, and they see us old people and go cha-ching lol.

That looks really cool but I'd much rather see AE do a non-limited production run of the RC10 and RC10T with a bunch of aftermarket support. These limited edition kits just wind up getting flipped on ebay.

They are imperial, but the 8-32's are hex sockets instead of Phillips. Everything except the washers, threaded rod, and lock nuts are black oxide.

get jay halsley to sign each box then ill buy. then ask jay how many upgrade parts he used to win the nationals so the car was reliable, it sucked out of the box for 3 years, every company made that car better for 5 years after release. this car was a upgrade refinance just to finish a race of 4 mins, nomatter how well you assembled the first kits released. its cool though.

Why does associated care more about collectors than the average customer? They will sell a few and all will end up on ebay for $1000. This proves you still have the tooling so release another run of gold editions so people can buy them to run and not re-sell. At least sell the parts. I cant run mine because the rear suspension mounts crack and they sell for $40 when you find them.

RC is struggling to remain relevant these days. These were once critical and meaningful model cars and stood for something and furthered the hobby. Now, it’s becoming a novelty. Maybe AE and other manufacturers should put resources into building tracks all along the country, and find ways of funding and managing them, perhaps with memberships or something else. I can’t see anyone caring at all about this clear RC10 version at all.

I'm so upset. I signed up for the Fast Track clear edition on your website. I have multiple family members I was purchasing them for for Christmas. I got an email the other day saying my order had come in and it would be held for me till Saturday the 2nd. I clicked on the link immediately after I received the email and it stated you all were out of stock again and to sign back up through Fast Track. Then I called customer service and he stated, "I don't know what to tell you. Our IT department messaged everyone and said their orders were in by accident." No effort to make the situation right was made. He too said go sign back up with Fast Track. Give me a break. This is a marketing nightmare for loyalist and everyone. Then you all go and raise the price from $319 to $399. Get fxcked people. That's the message it sends.
