I love the way the my Kagama 4 run. However the CVD's are problematic and the Ackerman bars still bend way too easily. And they finally released offset rear dogbones for smoother operation. Hopefully team corally can fix these issues on their next 4s release.

Even though changing pinions is a pain, this setup means it is very difficult for the mesh to slip. As a basher for the gear mesh, you just set it and forget it so it has that as a positive feature.

This truck got hate on my channel for 2 reasons most think its slow and ugly. Styling wise i think it looks cool but looks are a matter or opinion. The speed complaints are straight up pathetic if you ask me and demonstrates a severe lack of understanding with a lot of RC users these days. I am doing a follow up vid soon and will be addressing some of the complaints. It blows my mind how so many users dont understand the basics of getting more speed out of these bigger/more advanced rigs compared to the cheap RTR's. A simple pinion gear change to 15t (13t stock) should easily get 40mph+ out of this on 4s which is perfectly acceptable for a 4s tank like this. I had someone comparing it to basic/cheap Chinese cars which i love btw and they have their place but this is an exceptional hobby grade machine with 1/8 components and very good build quality and not even close quality wise to an MJX (someone said a ROG1 is faster lol). Why do so many judge and RC car these days on speed alone.. What about all the other important factors?.. Crazy man. Great vid.

@@beyondRC spot on! Looks are personal which is why I rarely comment on them. I do think they should have included 15T oob, but as you said it’s a simple upgrade. Love the “what it’s like to be a RC YTer” series btw, I’m thinking of doing a reaction type video to yours if you don’t mind. Not so much about what you said, but my thoughts on the same topics. But if you prefer me not to, that’s fine, it’s just a thought I had.

@@richardtuin4659 it seems that I triggered a lot of people when I said I didn’t like the kraton. I was referring to the old kraton 6s. I am yet to try the new one so maybe my mind would change but even then. I still think the kagama 6s is the better truck. We are all entitled to our opinions and as mentioned above I fully respect someone else’s opinion but only if they have tried both trucks and can directly compare the two after trying them both. There are many that will defend the kraton who have never even driven a kagama whose opinion means minimal in my opinion. You can’t say something is better or worse without trying it yourself 😂 I could say the airbus a380 is better than a 747 but my opinion there would mean nothing as I’ve not flown either of them which means there is no value to my opinion. If an airline pilot tells me he’s flown both and prefers the 747 his opinion would hold value as he’s flown both. If you get my terrible example 😂

Little grub screws towards the inside of the arms limit how far the arms can extend down. If it's too far, then you get too steep of an angle and can rub/hit the driveshafts against the outdrives.

Thanks for the advice, I do think the 6s is cooler, I just hope I don't fall in love like I did when I bought my first Arrma (Fireteam) and ends up with a dozen Team Corally trucks and buggies piled up everywhere.
