There is no comparison here other than the price point. Team Corally are killing it, the entire range throughout gives superb value (particularly here in the UK) with solid construction and well thought out design. Love your content... Such a wholesome approach to a fantastic hobby 👍🏻

Jato is a stadium truck and the rustler is a stadium truck whether it is a 2wd electric or nitro or a 4x4 it’s still a stadium truck. I wanted to look up parts earlier for a Jato 4x4 because I thought about converting my slash lcg 4x4 to a Jato but when I searched up Jato 4x4 I got a lot of Jato 3.3 parts instead.

also grabbed my Jato today from my RC plug. got a bit of a price break so I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I would of probably passed on this one like I think I said on one of your other videos but got lucky, I guess. I like the car that was never the issue but like you said the price point is what made me second guess it.

Good informational video brother. I have rhe red Jato 4x4 with a max10 g2 4000kv sensored system with a power hobby LP250 servo. It rips and is awesome but I would never recommend this vehicle to anyone for the out the door price. The only thing it has going for it is parts availability...

The Syncro4 is without a doubt a much better value. I’d still buy the Jato though, simply because I like how it looks. Easier to change out the electronics than it is to change out the aesthetics. Especially the VXL version with the white wheels and pin tires, I think just looks sick. Also, imo, the VXL version does come with a bunch more than just the motor. I made the mistake of purchasing a BL2S Stampede 4x4 and upgrading it to a VXL before they announced the VXL Stampede 4x4 and that was definitely hard on my wallet.

Definitely both cool cars the corrally is definitely better for the price traxxas all there rcs I've noticed are up there in price ...but they do have really good quality but some of there stuff could be a little more reasonable in price....

Would have to get the syncro 4 over the traxxas for the money . But I don't think the BL 2S is "junk" . Have a 4x4 slash that came with that system and it's great , just depends on where your gonna run it.

I corrected myself I should have cut that part out because it was a bit much it is a good concept like I mentioned the internal fan is nice I like the direction by replacing the brushed systems for this purpose its too small for what I am wanting and I think a lot of people really wanted more speed and power out of it

A fair comparison. The Syncro 4, Typhon 3s, and Jato bl-2s are all entry level 1/8 buggies, so the hate being thrown at Traxxas is the balls they have for charging $350 for a 25mph car when the competition is @ 40+mph for the same price. The servo and transmitter are also sub par making the Jato essentially a $350 all plastic roller with a slipper clutch and non-standard buggy wheels. People who aren’t in the Traxxas cult have a right to expect more for their money in 2024.

Is it the 10208? I did a review on that its a decent rc it had some loctite issues lol They just released v2 which seems to have fixed that one I do like the bluetooth esc settings that is nice.

Mine just said brand new so probably the same as you reviewed. I must have missed your review, I'll go check it out. Thought I pretty much watch all your rc stuff and I enjoyed your life behind the scenes too. Id never guessed you were a car guy, that's awesome. I'm a fellow soldier so I support your channel as much as I can. I only did 4 years in active and 7 in the reserves. I have narrowed it down to one of these for my child. The ONLY reason I am even considering the Jato is due to the number of NIMH batteries my kids have for their Slashes. That said, my youngest one is just getting started. So my only question really is what car is superior in handling in a parking lot and on grass. Which one do you think can dive in a corner without rolling? Will be running 2s batteries to start off because I was gifted them. Leaning TC because it is a far better value, but for my 12 year old handling will be priority one. She drives a Slash now, but it is banged up and old. This new buggy will be her big present from Santa this year. Thank you on advance for any and all suggestions. Absolutley loved your break down of the two.

The Jato does handle surprisingly well even with the upgraded system and it running way faster than out of the box. My money would still be with the Syncro4 it handles really well and the extra 2 pounds really helps it stay planted and with a center diff its more tunable for handling. As far as batteries I dont like adapters but you can certainly run one 2s really shouldnt be a problem or you can solder a Traxxas connector on the Syncro4 and if you cant your local hobby shop should be able to. The only reason I would consider the Jato for your child is if they are going to slam it into curbs a lot or ram into stuff the Jato might work better because it is so light and its totally plastic it will handle it better. The Syncro4 is something you can easily grow into because its already 4s and the transmitter allows you to reduce the power so you can already put a 4s in there and use the remote to cut it back then if you want to run it just flip the switch and full power. I hope that helps I have a review video on the Syncro4 and Jato under the reviews playlist if you want to see how they drive look at speeds, jumos, and get a better idea how they drive.

I live in SC and the hobby shops we had closed. I see RC Hobby Explosion carries the Syncro4 and has a coupon for $40 off. Do you know if they are legit. It appears so. I am going to order it in green and a 2s battery as well. Like I said earlier it is going to be her big gift from Santa, and sadly at 12 years old it may be the last year she believes so I am going Christmas colors to represent the holiday!

The Syncro is already 4s so if your looking to use that system get the Jato from my experience you need the center diff the slipper cant handle the extra power. They both run great on 4s its going to cost you a bit more to get the Jato ready for it

Traxxas this control mechanism is failing and they are losing a lot of money to these other companies now because of value. That 2S system in an 1/8 scale buggy is very incompetent I’m sorry to say when I know they can do better with there Ferrari like mindset lol . Just a suggestion Traxxas I’d like to see more input on realistic like bodies, such as the UDR. if they had done that on the max slash like on the Mojave it would have been a much better handling rig.But anyway that’s just my rant, and two cents especially in economy like this give me a break gee wiz with the greed Traxxas…great informative video I do like the the fact that it’s very lite and would make a great speed demon the only way I’ll ever touch it is with a roller and I know Traxxas will never✅

It would be nice to get something in advance but like you integrity and honesty is more important to me than anything I will buy a car before I am influenced to lie about something I try to keep a middle of the road honest opinion about stuff and look at it from the perspective of a new buyer to an experienced buyer what each might look for in a rc. I turned down the chance to work with one place because they wanted to tell me how to push the brand and make the video about nope not doing it.
