@MaximumD2 You're right, they did very well. 3 of the drivers have at least 5 years experience, but the #46 driver was a true rookie in his first race ever. Had a lot of rookies out there for several teams and they performed excellent.

@TheBanditProduction The Junkyard Dogs disbanded at the end of the the 2009 season. However, several of the drivers are now team mates on Orange Crush. Ryan Bleuer, Johnny Ryan and Tom Lewis all were part of JYD. Kyle Shearer did not move to JYD and is on Bad Company.

Our cars do not run cages - not allowed. Drivers opt to leave certain parts of the original cars on, such as the grill, hood ornaments, mirrors, chrome, etc., as "flair" and identification to the different models of cars.

for these derbys do they have specific rules that hinder them to build up the car bodies i notice they did don't have much of a cage and they left a lot of stripable stuff on the cars like the grill and what not. I'm just wondering

@basketballcoachmike Good eye, and yes #33 Rich Wilson was rocked hard on that trunk shot. He got checked out by the medics and was fine. Unfortunately, that was his last race for the foreseeable future as he's decided to retire. Great career!

what is it against the rules to run ready rod throught the trunks? must be pure stock, but id atleast wire the trunks down

Why isn't this on tv! I grew up in the grandstands of spanaway speed way! I dreamed as a kid to be a demo driver! They removed the track to put up houses that are no longer selling! My children no longer have demo Derby's roller rinks and drive in movies! They get to be bored and cause trouble out of nothing to do! This is demo derby in it's finest and needs to come back and give our youth a chance to dream again!

JYD was not a team for 2010 or 2011. JYD did return in 2012 and plans to race 2013 as well.
