Rear mech is the older 9070 Dura Ace. The key is in the detail.

Are the sponsors paying so much to push disk brakes that you have to ignore completely the great looking integrated rim brakes? It looks great! The fork and seat stays are as sleek and aero as on a disk brake bike and the hubs are as sleek as on a rim brake bike. The best of both worlds!!! (except for the mechanics. I just finished upgrading a BMC from alloy to 50mm carbon wheels and those below the BB brakes are a pain to work on). Plus if that bike had disk brakes then it would weigh another half a kilo and 9.5Kg that really put us back to the 80's...

Lol it's been many years since tubeless tires for road bikes came out, and nobody in the pro peloton uses them. Clinchers and tubulars(if you are rich) is the way to go.

If you move away from round tubes, you need to add carbon to keep the bike just as stiff, so TT framesets are heavier than road bike framesets. Also, disc rear wheel, bigger chainrings, more handlebar elements, aero integration to the max, dedicated integrated brakes... But hey, no one complains about the weight of the Bloodhound SSC..

Just in case you may be interested: Titanium Nitride Gold coated, check KMC-Chain for X11SL. Very durable. I run them on an Ultegra. Will never go back to another one.

​@@sleep7.5RNOW I AM IN ;-) just black with golden accents. Originally I am not the "gold" guy. it all started with the chain ;-) But KCMC, NC17 and Jagwire have some nice parts. Check out the sunrace csrz1. I ride the black version CSRX1 but the next one is going to be the golden ;-). KNC and sunrace work together well.
