Team Fortress 2 has been updated for 64 bit, but only the Windows and Linux versions. The Mac version of the game remains 32 bit, but 32 bit applications are not supported on MacOS 10.15 and higher.

It's cool to see others learning to play TF2 on Mac through Whisky! Question: Does TF2 start to degrade in performance for you the longer it stays open? I have this issue where it plays perfectly at the start, but the longer I play and the more matches I load, the frames start to get noticeably choppy. Do you have any recommended Whisky settings to combat this, or any autoexec/launch options for TF2 if you use those?

@ChaosUnown That kind of sounds like thermal throttling. A simple & easy test you may be able to do on a laptop or mini-PC is feel the temperature of your computer when you have nothing open, then next time you have TF2 open for a long time and it starts chopping frames, try feeling your computer again and see if it's very warm or even hot to the touch. You may also hear your computer fans getting louder as the frames start chopping, this is an attempt to cool down your computer. All this is assuming the problem is thermal throttling.

@@DawsonBerzenji well sometimes I hear the fan kick on, but most of the time it’s very consistent and doesn’t get loud at all, definitely doesn’t overheat or anything
