This is the video that started it all! I've since made 2 sequels to this video, called 'Till Death Do Us Part' and 'Till Death Do Us Part Two', the latter of which won 'Best Drama' in Valve's Saxxy Awards in 2013!
To clarify, the 100 hours working on this included the time for planning, map/location scouting, posing, lighting, camera keyframing, and all the actual rendering (in maximum DoF and Motion Blur settings, in 30fps). It easily stacks up.
Inspired by Ubisoft's trailer for 'ZombiU' that premiered at E3 this year ( • ZombiU Official Traile... ), I decided to create a similarly cinematic animation with the Team Fortress 2 characters facing off against zombies.
Final animation was rendered out in 512x DoF and 128x motion blur, in 1280x720 and 30fps.

I'm still hoping that atleast 1 of these will happen. (Watch the other parts to understand what i mean) 1. If they ever find demo's corpse they will open that flap thing on demo's clothes (Kaboom taunt thing) and read the sticky note there. (Replacing the demo's happyface sticky note with a note about how the zombie apocalypse started) 2. They might find the demo's hat with the treasure and show another blueprint for another potion thing (NOT THE CURE WHICH MEDIC MADE) to find where the zombies come from and use the CURE which medic made there. 3. The others found the zombie demo then they use the cure on him hoping that he would turn back. But instead of turning into a human again the zombie demo explodes With zombie liquid that turns anybody who touches it turns into a zombie. I hope that atleast one of these gets into part 3 :))
