The entire cup is slid off, you can see the old wear where the brake discs are supposed to mount. Simply line the discs up and tap it in and it will fit. Make sure both discs mount because brakes still won’t work or have full power. I rebuilt my transmission two weeks and ripped it up and had no brakes due to back disc being loose allowing pads to not compress! Thankfully no accidents occurred!

hey man! Thanks for the advice, I have not looked at it yet, but I'm leaning towards you being correct. This truck also has a homemade brake linkage with incorrect geometry, something I'll have to address soon. Def appreciate your input man, see you on the next one! Currently im 3D printing air filters, lol. Seriously...

​@@hybrid32494I had the exact same issue as you with my LST. It was just the out drive cup slid out, like this gentleman said. Slid it back, got it on the flat spot of the shaft, and tightened the grub screw down and was back in business

The diffs should never move up and down like that, regardless if the set screw is loose or incorrect. You may have a stripped diff gear sir. KBN and make Nitro great again.❤

hey dude! Thanks! Im thinking he center diff outdrive is busted or possible broken internally in the housing itself. It makes sense because the disk brakes are mounted on it, and I lost brakes. that means there is a phyciall disconnect between the trans and the center driveshaft. Not great! will look into it again.

Hybrid it looks like the drive cup has come out too far push it back in to the brake disks and refit the grub screw

I’m surprised at how much you were able to get the center driveshafts to reach into the tranny outdrives. It’s a common pain in the neck for that area, and with my own build it has nowhere near as much reach as yours does? Did you use any aftermarket parts? I may have missed a video that touched on that issue? I have them in the cups, one better than the other but still nowhere near as good as yours are. I’d really like to know if you found a hack or an aftermarket one that is slightly longer to reach that distance. Now I hope you see this comment! Thanks bro!! Nitro World!

i bought a milwaukee compatible heat gun , like yours / battery power . All it does is start for 5 seconds , and dies out and just DRAINS THE BATTERY HARD CORE !! amazon junk . Don’t buy the cheap stuff when it comes to a heat gun !!!
