Why does the commentator always interrupt the programme with his doom and gloom....I bet he's great at partys, ......the fridge is full of beer, but a fuse has blown, if its not fixed in time the beer will warm up and that's not the only problem, the food on the table is fresh but if not covered, it will curl up on the corners, this party is going downhill fast , ...luckily one of the guests is an electrician and fixes the fuse with a bit of wire from the lid of a Champaign bottle.......after a challenging start to the party everything now seems in order...but...some of the guests have got themselves rat arsed and will have difficulty getting home unless some taxis are called, .....the taxis are busy and if they dont come' the guests will be staying the night, ...but...theres a problem, not enough beds or bedding, this could become serious............Taxi office just phoned, they are on their way

Why you Mahoney do not try like dust devils, Big Track and after clean gold use in plate of gold. it is always more small peaces in ground but if you want find walking with detector you will rarely find big chunk peace.

There's something I don't get about this. Let's say they weren't able to reach their "goal" and they fall short a couple of ounzes... what would stop them to go back in the bush (preferably at a later hour of the day) and keep looking for a couple of hours 'till they reach their "goal"?? Do they have some kind of time limit to go metal detecting? Does the season has a date cut-off? Or all this is just to put some drama into the show?

Those nuggets are worth almost twice spot and more for larger than 10 grams. Ofcourse this show is mostly BS but fun to fantasize about hitting it big.Seems that if you worked at a trade making 80k to 140k you would make more and not have to kill yourself.A journeyman industrial electrician makes $55 per hour + benefits.Foreman made 20% more,too. Putting in 2080 hours a year(full time) would beat the pants off sweating and eating dust for the uncertainly of going broke.Hobby detecting is fun but just like gambling,only the few lucky ones hit it big.Casino's aren't in business to lose money,lol.

The show is mostly bullshit , it might have been that easy 40 years ago when vlf metal detectors first hit the goldfields but after 40 years of detecting all the easy gold is gone , what they don't tell you when you buy a metal detector is you need the D9 to go with it to improve your chances walking around detecting just isn't that easy .
