If you believe bloggers and journalists all around the world, Team Me is one of the hottest newcomers of 2011.And it all started out as an accidental success when Marius D. Hagen and his private, little side project Team Me ended up in the finals of NRK P3´s (Norwegian National Radio) Best new band/song contest. Marius quickly had to get a band together and Team Me made their live debut alongside some of Norway's new top acts, such as Kvelertak and Blood Command at the finals at the P3 battle in January 2010. Marius´ little secret was not so easy to hide anymore, and Team Me quickly became one of the most talked of new bands on the Norwegian music scene, with their unique and warm live shows, and their two singles "Fool" and "Weathervanes and Chemicals" which have been air played on Norwegian national radio all ever since.
The band played nothing less than 8 Norwegian festivals the summer of 2010, and the people who were lucky enough to squeeze in the crowd at Team Me's concert at the smallest stage at Øyafestivalen, could all feel that something big is about to happen. This might also be why Team Me shortly after got invited back to play next year´s Øya festival and was one of the first bands to be picked out for by:Larm 2011, Scandinavia's biggest industry event for music.

Not only is Team Me´s music and live show appealing to so many, the band has a great creative side to them as well. The band recently launched an alternative music video for "Weathervanes and Chemicals" made as an online flash based videogame. The game has already been played over 500.000 times by game lovers all over the world, since the launch in the autumn of 2010. You can play the game at teammegame.com.
Team Me E.P is the first official release of the band, consisting of five songs recorded in Oslo and produced and mixed by by Tom McFall (REM, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol), which will be released in Norway in February and UK in April. The EP will be the first taster of a full-length album, coming in the fall of 2011.
The EP was released in Norway the 7th of February 2011, and the track "Dear Sister" was immediately playlisted on NRK P3, their third single on rotation in 12 months!
Team Me has played a string of UK tour dates recently, having been invited to support British Sea Power and The Wombats on their separate tours. They round it all off with an appearance at Brighton´s The Great Escape Festival in May, before they head home to Norway to finish their full-length debut album.

Saw this band yesterday and they were insane in the birmingham O3 acadamy!!! they were so grateful that the crowd clapped and jumped along! bless them :) want to see them again now! their dancing was brilliant aswell! hahahahan TEAM ME WOOO!

I saw them put on a great show in Kongsberg and talked with them a bit after the show. Nice people. It reminded me of when i was in my early twenties and that naive youthful energy that you don't notice while its there, but you notice it after its gone.
