We blatantly see the difference in shinobi class to be relevant against Akatsuki members. Choji & Ino (Chunin) needing to be defended on every turn by Kakashi and offering little to no support is evidence of this. Staying relevant against Akatsuki members actually is super significant. So on top of Lee just blatantly showing a ~ here with Guy, Guys whole narrative with Lee is that he’s only going to use the 8th Gate when Lee surpasses him (stated Databook 2 which lines up exactly with how the events with Guy transpire with Guy sacrificing himself for Lee) which adds to Lee’s insane feats even with the 6th Gate being able to intercept TSO orbs that only Kage level Shinobi can like Kakashi, Gaara, Minato. Lee also can just react and move on par with Kyuubi Naruto cutting through Madara while IN BASE, the Kyuubi Cloak also just doesn’t amp Taijutsu so this is very consistent. Elite Jonin + Fighter vs Chunin Level Fighter. Naruto’s chunin exams form is weaker due to him not having nearly as much of the Kyuubi’s chakra. The more he gains the more Characteristics of the Kyuubi he dons. He actually has an insanely small amount vs Neji.

Naruto’s seal is set up so his base chakra increases as the Kyuubi’s chakra that leaks through merges with his with more leaking over time, that does not mean that more chakra can’t come out from an emotional response at an earlier stage. Neji is def not special jonin level, they’re ~ to the FP CM2 Sound 4 while out of chakra while Neji 10/10 high diffed a fatigued Kidomaru. The gap between Chunin in Jonin is actually insanely high. The stats aren’t an objective measure to compare to other fighters, they’re more so where the characters are strong individually otherwise Hiruzen & Choji have the same speed

Kakashi is one of those characters who downplays himself a lot but is actually one of the strongest Jounins accross all the villages. Also consider that the matchups might be reversed. Kakashi, Rin, Obito might fight Zabuza while Minato fights Haku. This might be what Zabuza orders cause this would be his only way to not get insta killed by Minato. Haku would last longer

Haku crazy highballed in this vid but I'm here for it lmao also I wish we could see how powerful Haku could have been or eventually become. I think Haku was a talent on the level of someone like Minato. Sometimes I think it would have been dope if Haku showcased some jutsu we'd never seen in the war to further emphasize how much he was holding back, but we didn't really get that. Anyways realistically I think Minato alone would have these two handled even if Haku has some incredible speed feats. I think Haku doing a Jonin gauntlet would be kinda fun.

Just think about it a little bit I guess. Haku had plenty of talent, he just wasn't as fortunate as someone like Minato who got to excel in an environment that helped him make use of his talents. Minato had Jiraiya as his sensei and also trained under the Uzumaki to learn a bunch of forbidden advanced sealing ninjutsu. However if Minato had been a war orphan in some far off land with no resources he probably wouldn't have been able to become the figure that he did. It's like how the rain orphans would never have become as strong as they did if not for Jiraiya. just because he died early (of his own volition) and didn't get as strong as Minato, it still doesn't say anything about his level of talent. I think that if he was actually trying he would have given Kakashi a harder fight than Zabuza did

I forgot about that senbon scroll feat for Haku, prolly bc no one in the manga or anime actually brought it up, but it's actually very similar to how Itachi's handseals perception blitzed Kakashi in the Tsunade retrieval arc. Also, what makes Haku intercepting Kakashi's Raikiri at all even more impressive is that Raikiri/Chidori literally amps the user to the point of being a blitz level faster than their base, hence the tunnel vision and why the Sharingan is required. Which means Haku at bare minimum is faster than part 1 Kakashi.

I think looking at Haku replacing Naruto/Sasuke in their fights in part 1, and then Kimimaro replacing them for part 2 would also be cool. Without the sharingon drain and two working eyes, I don't think Haku takes Kakashi and Obito that easily or quickly. Namely because of Kakashi's broad knowledge of jutsu that he possessed even before the sharingon. It seems like earth style and clone usage would allow Kakashi and with his help Obito to give him a difficult time. Bearing in mind that Edo Haku also has infinite refilling chakra and stimina and they are fighting ninja who are coming in already fatigued.

Wasn't Haku said (by Kakashi himself )to be stronger? Only with Kurama's power and Haku's mercy did they manage to win... Otherwise team 7 would have lost. The only threat to Haku is Minato and even then Minato has to go for the kill immediately and make sure Haku doesn't understand Flying Raijin.
