Banzai pipelines... 6 hour's away by car on gooGHOUL maps. Nanaimo is 4 hrs on bike, ferry. Pipeline challenge, I can't possibly refuse...totally doable.

Vancouver island is a novelty. Spent a few years living on the island. Jordan river and surrounding breaks are okay. Farther north has a couple of okay waves. Nothing world class. Indonesia and south Pacific are far better. But Vancouver island is beautiful

You're saying Indo has better waves than Vancouver island!!?? 🤯 Thanks for your expertise. If we're defining world class as say WSL stops and some shit conditions some contests are held in, I'd say some of our secret or lesser known spots would give those ones a run for their money. They all have their day.
