Team Raffee Defender D90 Boom Racing axles fixed and Krait Rims purchase

i have 2 boom racing landies my d110 i have had for 2.5 years and never had any problems with it i did strip and shim and grease the axles gear box and transfer box they do say to strip and check everything before doing anything on the web page of product have just built the d90 and have done the same will be running it soon

Definitely think it was more me than the axles for sure mate. There was just so much play in the axles thst could have easily been shimmed if I had taken the time first round.

@@radiocontrolcarshed2236 i know that feeling just putting new battery in mine and its just ever so slightly to big i cant get it to fit my fault didnt check size of it when i bought it will have to use another then can test it ,its amazing how simple mistakes are made without really thinking about it hahaha

D90 looks great! You can go lower - I used their high clearance motor mount to lift the spur gear out of the way, and ended up with 80mm shocks set in the highest hole all round (and a fair bit of static sag). I think I moved the panhard link back on the mounting, too. 👍😀 Oh, and let me break with this new tradition of asking to be 'friends' on account of a) it not meaning anything and b) me not being a bot. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Radio Control Car Shed It's pretty cheap and has a few mounting positions - could do with being standard, really... are you on instagram? I could send you a pic of how mine's set up, if that's any use to you.

Hi I'm looking at buying the same team raffee chassis and d90 shell. What did you have to do to get the chassis to fit low enough and also to correct the wheelbase? I was hoping it came ready to fit without the need for adjustment?

In the end I got some shorter shocks and the key then was to clear the front pan hard from the chassis. This took me getting a new pan hard mount for the chassis from Boom Racing for the front axle.
