I was scrolling down in these comments for a bit and see a lot of the people who stopped watching smosh the second Anthony left hating on the newer cast members. This is just an assumption, but have the people who stopped watching in 2017 at least tried to watch a Try Not To Laugh, Reunion, or Funeral Roast? Not all of their newer content is funny but a good chunk of it is. I can name a good number of videos that made me laugh and still do. Americas Top Simp is one I know by name. The people who left in 2017 definitely do not know Chanse, Angela, Jackie, Amanda, or Arasha. (Spencer and Tommy I believe were still around with Anthony but they only started appearing on camera in recent years) But they do definitely know Shayne, Courtney, Olivia, Keith, and Noah but are just calling them dead weight. Tell me, could Molester Moon or The Magic School Buss parody be as good as they were without them? Before y'all start hating on the cast at least watch teletubies or magic school bus reunion. Y'all don't even have to watch Smosh Pit or Smosh Games content because the old Smosh you all wanted is back. I'm literally just waiting to see how many og smosh "fans" hate on the new sketches that Ian and Anthony are putting out. (FYI it has already happened sadly)

Okay i know people gonna attack me but new Smosh is funnier than old one imo. I was watching them as child liking what they do at time but now watching old Smosh as an adult is really different. Like don't get me wrong but a person being electruted by their nipples or two guys screaming at each other is just making me giggle. Seeing the new crew and their comedic genius made me understand that these people are funnier. The funeral roasts are just top humor. I just love it. Old smosh is nostalgic and i will have a place for it in my heart but tbh new smosh slaps.

i only started watching 'new' Smosh since the announcement, but i've been enjoying it a lot and started binging it. Shayne and Damien, as well as Courtney frequently, are absolutely hilarious. though if i'm being totally honest, and i feel bad, but i very rarely find Olivia funny. sometimes she is funny when it's not improv, but this 'chaotic/i'm so random' type of humour really doesn't work :/ its just a little painful to watch sometimes. and i know some people here are being genuinely hateful, but i suspect some just feel the same way i do and aren't exactly wrong to admit it.

I literally discovered smosh watching smosh pit it think tntl 46 or 47 i also watch Anthony before and after a year in a rabbit hole i discovered that Anthony is a co owner of smosh i thought it's ian I don't watch the main channel i only watch the smosh pit channel since there's more funnier stuff there.. but now that they're back I'm really curious if they're going to revive this main channel... People are downplaying what the smosh crew did to the channel i mean they literally the only one keeping the channel alive 'bias' mainly shayne damien tommy keith noah olivia and courtney for me.. I personally don't like the new member since i stop watching it when they introduce them then i started watching smosh again when ian Anthony announcement.

It’s better that they bought it back cuz now they have more control over the brand and content and creative control is an important thing that a lot of people unfortunately lose so they’re lucky that they’ve gotten it back I doubt they’re gonna have to take a pay cut just cuz they bought back Smosh and doesn’t really matter that they won’t be in the main skits, they do enough as it is on the other content so I doubt them not been in the main skits is a big deal to them
