Jessie and James have split and gotten back together before. I'm hoping that they end up separately finding Ash and Latios, helping foil some bad guy's plan. After all, the only bad guys whose schemes they'll let work out are their own. (Not that their plans work, but you know what I mean.)

I feel like people are quick to assume that the ending of this episode is the ending of Team Rocket. There's no way that Pokemon can leave a plotline this big unfinished like that, so they're definitely going to make up somehow. I personally think they could appear either: -In the next episode, maybe coming to realize their errors, and somehow getting caught up in the Latios situation. They decide to be the good guys and help Ash and his friends out, and then they are resolved at the end -Or the final episode, where basically the same thing happens, except the sole focus is just on them either leaving Team Rocket, or just having some sort of resolution There still are two episodes left of MPM, and it was never outright stated this was the last episode we would see them, it's just the last episode where they're the main focus.

Amazing video Big Bro I really enjoyed this!! I know we're both facing ShoPro right now but we will make it through! I was shocked how they ended the team rocket episode im certain they won't leave it off like this and will see the rocket trio return in the final episode. For the Latias episode i'm really excited for it, finally some action. The Pokémon Hunter actually seems like proper threat maybe there is some sort of connection between him and hunter J that would really cool! I would love Ash to catch Latias or even better both Latias and Latios but i wouldn't be surprised if Ash gets none which would really suck. Friede's new crew look sick! Orio is my favourite out of the bunch it's cool to see her having Metagross. The ship also looks epic we're definitely in for some very exciting trips around the pokémon world the scarlet and violet anime looks very promising. If Ash doesn’t catch Latias and/or Latios then basically the entire is gonna be a total waste. From episode 1 Ash was doing things he has been doing for 25 years (helping out random Pokémon with whatever issue they might be facing or getting separated from Pikachu) and it was all done for Latias to like him and get convinced that he is a good person who can help Latios so of all of this doesn’t result in anything then what was the point in all of this. Ash rescuing Latios from a Pokémon hunter could have been a random episode from any series with no previous setup.

I have to say, I've started feeling very sad for Team Rocket more than Ash and Pikachu now with the ending of episode 9. I do hope Team Rocket is going to return for a much happier ending for them. I'm hoping they are going to end up meeting Arbok and Weezing together, or perhaps they'll find out Ash needs help and they'll help them. I mean, think about them meeting the new Gen 9 legendaries and 3 starters in teasers. They've got to be canon and I do hope something special for them is coming. Of course, I'm excited for the new Gen 9 anime too, but some people are not, and with Team Rocket's treatment, although very unlikely their end, but if it is their end then this could lead to more anime hate and that'll be sad. I feel like this episode and the next two are going to be a secret three parter with Team Rocket splitting up here but, getting back together before the end of the series and while it will look like Latias doesn't join Ash in the next episode at the end there will be a moment at the end where Latios encourages Latias to go with Ash as it is what she wants and then in the last episode Ash catches her while dealing with a reformed trio

Raf, the trailer actually concerns me. If Liko and Roy will be traveling to other regions on an airship most of the series then Paldea could get the same treatment as Galar. Also, it is concerning that none of the characters from the S&V games appeared in any promotional material so far. Are they not important enough to appear in the trailers?

First Liko is from Paldea so the anime will definitely at least start in Paldea. Roy is from Kanto. Second you don't know how long the anime will last, it said 2023 and beyond so this might be many episodes or even many seasons of this protagonists which means they will eventually cover Paldea if they don't start with it. I wouldn't assume anything until we know the region they start in but knowing Liko is From Paldea and one of the characters have a Ceruledge pretty sure Paldea will be covered. Keep in mind we also don't know if this will be set in the same timeline of the games or even in the same year. For example Hisuain Snow with its 3 episodes was set years before Legends Arceus. For example the girl next to Liko in the trailer could be Iono before being a Gym Leader and the anime could be set before the events of the game (they both have sharp teeth and this is just speculation)
