Real Vaporeon Fans unite. Also, there may be Pokemon that nobody hates, but it’s also nice to know that of all the Pokemon there are, they’re all somebody’s favorite.

I genuinely feel bad for people whose favorite Pokemon was Vaporeon before the copypasta destroyed its reputation. At least with Pokemon like Gardevoir, Lopunny, and Tsareena, the people who like those Pokemon knew the degeneracy they were getting into from the start. But Vaporeon was a perfectly normal and respectable Pokemon for two decades before being retroactively ruined.

My favourite is the Salted Cream with the Purple ribbon (Of course I HAD to fall in love with one of the rare sweets ;_;), I actually had this exact variant in my first playthrough of Pokemon Shield, I got lucky with the sweets during the Milcery event! I always have her on my team, also made a point to collect all 63 variants + the 7 shinies in every game she is! She is so customisable! Like you can make your perfect one! Not a lot of mons allow you such a range of expression, you could argue Spinda, but you have 0 control over the pattern unless you mod it, but Alcremie just needs a Sweet and spin in the right time + length, 100% in your control! What is your favourite variant?

I don’t think people hate the Ralts line either. I mean Ralts is just precious, Kirlia has a lovable little sibling vibe, and both Gardevoir and Gallade look elegant and gracious. Plus the fact that Gardevoir is a powerful psychic type that can deal with dark types cause it’s also a fairy type and Gallade hits hard especially now since it has Sharpness has an ability.

I do actually hate tinkaton, but that’s because it’s Pokédex entry says it hunts down Corviknight (my favorite regional bird) to the point that Corviknight can’t serve as a taxi service in Paldea because it might DIE and take any passengers down with it. 3:54 i actually used furret in my run of soulsilver and he was amazing on my team!! my entire team other than him was weak to rock, so anytime i had a rock type opponent, he'd be my first pick. ever since i caught him as a sentret, i never had any doubts that he was BAD, just that he was mediocre at worst. he knows a ton of hm moves too so i used him to surf and cut things, which gave my other pokemon a massive boost in moveset variety :D

My top two favorite Pokémon are Venonat and Vulpix. I mean I don’t know how useful they are (I’m not really someone who pushes them in that light, I usually just try to have each type in my party) or if they get hate, but I think both are underrated in appearance. Venonat, while having a less cutesy design, I feel like really sweet and has a great color palette, let alone it’s fun to have a larger Pokémon that’s at least a little cute. Vulpix is one of the cutest Pokémon, in league with Eevee, and I’m sad it’s not talked about as much (especially its eyes) and Ninetails is a great evolution.

@@Maplekittycityin the TCG, you lose the game if you draw your entire deck. There’s a Snorlax card from the Pokémon Go set with an ability that makes it so you can’t switch out your Pokémon. People have built a strategy where they can effectively trap a Pokémon that can’t do damage with that Snorlax and just wait for their opponent to draw their entire deck and lose. A lot of the community really hates this ‘stall’ playstyle, and because Snorlax enables that strategy to work, many players end up hating Snorlax.

I don't hate Wooper, but I don't think it's as cute as everyone claims it to be. Though, this only applies to Johto Wooper, as I really like Paldean Wooper. Maybe it's because I used one in my Violet playthrough, but I do like that version of Wooper. Yeah, Snorlax rocks. I would like to say though, it IS cool. I don't know if I love Lapras, but I see the appeal. I will go ahead and say I like it. Furret is cute. It's definitely one of the better early route rodent Pokemon and I think it's WAY cuter than Sentret. Fun fact: Marill is the only member of its evolutionary line that I like. I like Tinkaton, but Mikey MandJTV doesn't. Not that that means anything, other than it just being proof that there are people who don't like it. Yeah, Gliscor rocks. Yeah, Spheal rocks. WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT WALREIN? COME AT ME, SO- Yeah, Flygon rocks. There aren't really any instances of me disliking Buizel or Floatzel, with the only exception surprisingly being Ash's Buizel. I don't know, I just didn't like its attitude, but it did get better as the series progressed. I personally prefer Ho-oh, but I see why people love Lugia. I mean its name is almost "Luigi," what's not to love? Okay, but for Suicune, I think it's a tad overrated. Plus, Goh's idiotically easy capture of it and the existence of Walking Waste did not help. I don't dislike it, but my opinion on it sours a little from time to time. Still a sick shiny though. Snom is cute. I like Snom. Yeah, Noivern rocks. BTW, it's Dragon-type because it's partially based on wyverns, a type of dragon. Luxray I think is pretty cool. I see the appeal. Psyduck is legitimately one of the most adorable Pokemon and I love it. Yeah, Krookodile rocks. I don't like Shuckle.

Big disagree on Snorlax. When I was a kid, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get past Snorlax blocking the path to progress, so I spent a lot of time wandering aimlessly until I bump into a Snorlax keeping me from going where I want to (english isn't my first language, and I don't read much as a kid, so that's a real gut punch) Plus, fighting or catching it can become nightmarish for first time and nuzlocke players. The funny thing is that I love Ash's Snorlax, but in-game Snorlax pisses me off so much on a personal level. The nostalgia-baiting in X and Y doesn't help. If I were to add some Pokemon on the list, I'd like to go with the Galarian Slowpoke family. Great typing and really cool twists on the originals. I've yet to see anyone take issue with them that are not just against Gen 8 in general.

Few things I wanted to say because I having a I-don’t-shut-up problem When I was a kid, I hated Snorlax because (kinda like Slaking) I thought that it was a lazy Pokèmon that didn’t listen to orders most the time. Why? It looked lazy, and I think there was moments in the anime I saw as a kid that convinced me that it was useless. Typical half-baked child logic. 12:03 Luxray isn't a Dark type because it's always had a light theming. It's dex entries state that it can see through anything when its eyes GLOW, that's LIGHT. In addition, "lux" is Latin for light, and "ray" could reference a ray of light. So, people are essentially saying that a Pokemon that is literally named "LightLight" should be a Dark type. If anything, Luxray should be part Fairy with the light theming. Change my mind.

fairy typing is too much, but i do agree. people want it to be a dark typing for most reason that it has black fur. its design does scream the dark typing, but luxray's concept doesn't really. i think it being a pure electric type is all it needs, because electricity is associated with sparks and light

Gotta be honest, I really don't like Suicune. Design-wise, it's cool, but i freaking hate the fact that it got more attention than Entei and Raikou. It got to star in a movie, it's in Pokken Tournament, it's the mascot of Crystal, it's had several anime appearances, and it was one of the first paradox legends to be revealed. Meanwhile, Entei only has a movie role, and Raikou barely has ANYTHING.
