Hi Jake, bought this kit from you. I have all the lines figured out from your video, except the one pictured coming out of the engine side of the large can running somewhere into the valley. What I'm describing can be seen at 3:47 in your video. Please help. Need to understand where on the motor this line connects. I have a 2018 Sierra Denali 6.2L.

I just saw this … you just connect it to the other side of the plenum.. no more drilling
@garethcummins7368 Жыл бұрын
Just to confirm the installation: My understanding is instead of drilling into the engine, I run a hose from the outside line of large can to the passenger side connection at the Plenum. (check valve away from large can) This connection in the original design was to be capped off. Valve covers are connected together through the tee. The side of the tee goes to the top of the small can. I assume the bottom of this tee is connected to the drivers side valve cover? A hose goes from the side of the small can to drivers side connection of the plenum. A hose goes from center of large can to pcv connection at the valley (front of engine) A Hose with from outside large can to side of the intake (check valve away from can). This connection is where the original oem pcv valley hose connected to I think.

Yes exactly you utilize both quick connects on the plenum now instead of drilling

Ok thank you

You just run a tee after the check valve from the large can.. and tee it into the CAI same line as the side of the small can.. I can walk anyone through any install

The hose with check valve closer to radiator. Where's this attached exactly?

If you want a PLUG AND PLAY SYSTEM just hook it up to the other side of the plenum that we plugged in this video..( this video is old and that was the first week we had the kit designed..) We drilled on the underside of the CAI and installed a 90 degree barb for a little better vacuum at WOT...

Why is your intake on the opposite side of my intake for my all new 2019 Silverado new body style. I also have a 5.3 L ,4x4.
@BrycefromNebraska5 жыл бұрын
Because it's not a 2019 with the new body style.
@YZ250Yamaha9695 жыл бұрын
Bryce T The new L84(w/ 8speed) is on the opposite side. The older motor L82 which you can buy in the old and new body are identical setup for intake.

YZ250Yamaha969 good to know! However, look at the curvature of the hood on the ends. It’s the old body style.

How about on the 4.3? The system is different

I have a problem with a company that doesn’t make sure their first product doesn’t work then makes it “better” what happens to the poor SOB’s that bought the first system?? How do we trust your product now??? No good instructions, it just goes on and on...

Kattiacoolyeah this happens in every business out there.. ? Did you ever buy a scuba mask and then buy one from the same company 6 years later? The original kits work great they are out there.. what instructions are you looking for?
@Kattiacoolyeah5 жыл бұрын
So where is the install vid showing proper easy installation???
@TEAMRXPCOM5 жыл бұрын
Kattiacoolyeah you mount the can with a bolt and run the lines like in this video?? It took me 45 mins to do this.. if you have problems I will color code lines for you and tell you where to hook the lines up.. honestly a 12 year old can hook these up once you explain this to him..

@@TEAMRXPCOM What makes your better than the others? Proven info please...
@TEAMRXPCOM5 жыл бұрын
@@richardladd72 Our hose is 1/2" for starters... every one else runs 3/8...which is wrong... these engines are venting out the valve covers with TWO quick connects.. these need to be able to flow.. I used to sell the same style of kits from competitors as they all copy each other... I designed a 5 chamber twin can system to catch at WOT and at idle....Also what I am trying to explain in this video is that you want a small can on the cleanside instead of a breather..

What is being drilled under the throttle body? Where's the 90* barb with male threads to screw into said drilled spot to attach hose?
@TEAMRXPCOM5 жыл бұрын
polariford45 you can just run the line for the large can to the quick connect at the plenum.. No drilling required with this kit

I asked for my missing instructions and was given this link instead. For the amount of money I spent on this can, you would expect a better instruction program for the end user and likely installer. A cell vid that doesn't really show an installation is kind of disappointing. It's already installed and is a panning overview that I will need to freeze frame what views are available along with any explanations and replicate the best I can and hope to heck I got it right. My $150 Elite plain jane 2 hose can came with pictured instructions. Made it so easy. This Ultimate can that looks more complicated has been sitting on the shelf since I got it months ago because I don't need the aggravation.

Lets save on paper and do video and email instructions shall we? This was a video explaining how the twin can works as opposed to our older design and our competition. We have heard of problems with Elites cans and the restriction of flow that they have in their systems particularly with the valve covers on these engines. Not just their systems but others like UPR... I had customers sending me screenshots of Joe from UPR asking for the interior pictures of our systems... That being said this is a very straight forward video and explanation of how the system works and why you need and want the twin can. The valve covers get connected together with a TEE. That Tee goes to the top of the mini can. The side port of the mini can goes back to your plenum box that is in between your throttle body and air filter... In stock form the valve covers dump vapors back into the plenum at WOT. ( With a hose from the valve covers to the CAI plenum) This video is explaining why you need to intercept this and why the mini can is better than our older design with the breather that replaced the oil cap. The large can is very simple. 1) Center line to PCV Valley under the intake. ( Right now there is a hose going from your PCV valley to the side of your intake on the drivers side) Remove this and keep it. Connect our quick connect to the valley PCV barb and run a hose from that to the center of the large can. The outside lines of the large can are interchangeable. You want one side ( with supplied check valve flowing away from the can) going back to the intake line that you just disconnected. This is your manifold vacuum. Then the last outside line of the large can ( with check valve flowing away from the can) goes back to the CAI plenum and hooked up with our supplied quick connect. This is a very simple installation. If you want a better vacuum signal with this last line at WOT then drill a 9/16 hole just outside the throttle body in the CAI and install our 3/8 npt by 1/2" barb. Hook the hose up here. Please contact us at www.teamrxp.com and I will re write these instructions for you. If you notice we use 1/2" hose... our competition uses 3/8 hose.. Hope this helped.

I am went with this kit cause I thought and still think it is a much better system than my Elite and wanna replace it with this kit, but was a bit intimidated. This I can do. I can take these instructions under the hood with me. Thanks for taking the time to do that. This is very much appreciated.
