So this video demonstrates doing on driver side. From other research I’ve found that the pcv on the passenger side only gets used as needed. I pull a trailer over with my truck. Would it be necessary to has this on both sides? It’s just the matter of buying 2 as the process is still the same. I think…

A catch can should not technically void the warranty unless the dealer can prove the catch can caused the issue you are trying to get covered. We do suggest to check with your local dealer since some dealers have been known to void warranty for small things like this.

Unfortunately, JLT does not offer anything for the 4.3 2020 Custom.

No, this will not effect performance or fuel economy. If anything the fuel economy might be slightly improved due to keeping the carbon build up off the valves but this would be on high mileage trucks.

Installed mine today. Has that freaking hiss that people are having. I assume it’s because the lines are so long and going into a hollow can. Never had one hiss like a vacuum leak before.

It could be possible the noise is coming from the kit but I would suggest double checking the connections just to ensure all is in place correctly.

Mine is hissing also. I watched another video and a guy said to wrap the longer hose with high temp. Electrical tape a bunch of times and the hissing noise will stop. Is this a good idea???

I assume it’s because the oem hose has insulation and it’s shorter and the jlt has longer hoses and doesn’t come with insulation on the hose they say it’s normal to have a hiss noise they even made a video about it explaining m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/moKWnGBsZtqgjZY&noapp=1
