I went 3-5-2 with goal boost. Erikson got me a boost today and Bellingham. Will swap out Foden and Kristensen. Ronaldo went in last min to replace Mbeppe as I wasn't sure if he would play. Will try and get him in for match day 2.

I ended up going with a 4-3-3 since I liked the first game odds for clean sheets + attacking contributions from the full backs. GK - Livakovic (swapping after Albania game) DF - Trent (heard rumours about him starting in midfield) - Dimarco (easy fixture) - Mittelstadt (cheapest German) - De Cuyper (Belgian + enabler) MF - Bruno (Portugal’s best) - Sudakov (good form + enabler) - Trossard (expect Belgium to score a lot + good form) FWD - Mbappe (no explanation needed) - Lukaku (easy fixtures + very good international record) - Ronaldo (if Bruno doesn’t score, Ronaldo most likely will) 12th Man - Kane (didn’t want to miss out on him for GW1, but didn’t go to plan) I’ve already took Trent out for Musiala, was a mistake not having German attackers/midfielders Looking at bringing in Cancelo for Dimarco if Portugal play well Going to see how the rest play before planning my last transfer, thinking of using Goal Booster in GW2 if players are on form

Best strategy at the first leg is to play max captain, as we dont know anything about teams and players form yet. Currently mine is on havertz, went without mbappe and kane infront. But bloody mistake playing grimaldo for spain

Tough call as feel like the fixtures were best for the first game week. Still only time will tell. Seen some do well with it so depends on the picks too. Frustrating that as feel he should be playing but looks like they’ve gone for balance with Cucu to let Carvajal attack

Thanks for the informative as always video; gutted for you with the Gundogan shenanigans. I went twelfth man Kane and have had three play as of Sunday bedtime for 13 points. All to play for still and my team is set up so I don't HAVE to do any transfers next week because the fixtures are all okay but I'll probably tweak it. Then when I use goal boost I will have watched players in action- for instance, I hadn't seen Bellingham in action before today, or if I had it hadn't registered, so I didn't really know much about him.

Well I'd have won at least a couple of hundred quid if only Gundogan would've scored as well. That really pissed me off. I took Mbappe out for Ronaldo and captained him last minute, after hearing the sickness rumours, so that will be interesting to see if that works out for me. Surely Dimarco should've gotten assist points.

Hi Scott. I settled on a 3-4-3 as all boosters favour attacking players. My team is Moldavan, Guehi, Mittlestadt, Castagne, Bellingham, Bernardo Silva, Eriksson, Gundogan, Kane, Lukaku & Mbappe. I captained Lukaku with vice on Kane and like you played my Goal Bonus booster. Still trying to recover from the Germany game but in a fantasy sense gutted I lost my clean sheet with the ridiculous goal we scored when we didn't look like scoring in a million years and as a Hibs fan seeing Ryan Porteous getting sent off pained me but not having Gundogan take the penalty probably because he was feeling the after effects of the tackle on him as you said added the cherry on the cake. I almost opted for Shaquiri instead of Eriksson so really dodged a bullet and I also had Fernandes in my team and took him out for Bellingham. Time will tell if that was wise .Fingers crossed for better luck for both of us in the rest of the matchday.

We have a lot of similar players mate and I went for the goal booster as well - been very disappointing so far as no players have scored for me but have Captain Lukaku, Mbappe, Fernandes and Trossard to go 🤞Moldavan to play in goal as well really hope he starts and gets a clean sheet too 🤞I had Shaqiri as well mate so gutting that!

Yep very slow start for me, was expecting more I must say. Hopefully Lukaku or Mbappe can grab me my first goal!
