4/20, the debut album is issued a vinyl print. I'm pre-ordering it immediately. I think Team Sleep, I think of my freshman and sophomore years in high school. I think of falling in love for the first time, I think of late night drives with my friends. I think of those demos on their MySpace. And personally, I think of learning how to construct music and writing/recording songs - that was around the time I started learning how to do analog production. Team Sleep is a lot like opening my high school yearbook and reading the love notes written inside.

The older I get and the more time passes, the more I believe Team Sleep was just ahead of its time! I remember listening to them in high school and I was absorbed in this magical athmospheric sound, but I couldn't truly understand what it was. It has something of the 2013-2014 post-rock wave, a very modern indie sound and a lot of experimental stuff that wasn't very common in the famous alternative scene of the time. But these are just my feelings and thoughts! Thank you very much for your videos about Team Sleep and Deftons. I feel how much of a big fan you are and it's tune with me a lot

Team Sleep just reminds me of a special time in my life. I met a girl after a bad relationship and a long stint doing my own thing. A mutual friend had set us up unbeknownst to either of us... we ended up driving around that first night we met and I put on Team Sleep. Turned out she was already listening to and down with Deftones, Team Sleep. Man... that chemistry was just there , right off the bat we hit it off. Just melted through the next couple years...

TS is so unique and defies genre's. I prefer them over Deftones, A perfect Circle, Tool and all the other main/side gigs. Nothing sounds as good as the Team Sleep album, their demo's, loops, remixes and such. It's right up there at the top, of albums to listen to at night

ahhhh Todd was my english teacher in HS very talented dude and:D best teacher evvver even tho i failed his class because i was a stupid immature high schooler at the time… He would talk about team sleep and how cool the band/tour was then, how they went to japan, the band was definitely ahead of its time top 5 best band of all time… hopefully they get back together soon or make a project together..Most slept on band that deserves lots of recognition just like Defrones glad this video stumbled upon my recommended.

I got to see Team Sleep in May of 2005 in New Orleans. It's one of the best shows I've ever went to. The opener ( Strike Him Centurion) really set the mood. They had a screen playing a bunch of anime and 80's stuff while they laid down some of the best post rock I've ever heard. Then Team Sleep came on and Chino sang a lot of the songs that he didn't on the album. Their sound was awesome and the "vibe" was unlike any show I've ever been to. Even to this day. I really hope we get another album and proper tour from these guys again. They made special music. Great video.

The demo C Block is the best thing the band ever did IMO, there is a heap of demo playlists available out there… unfortunately I had a bad relationship that kind of ruined my associated memories of this band… I instead listen to bands like These Arms Are Snakes, Godspeed, Jesu, Mammifer and Blunt Razors - highly recommend all for anyone into this kind of music

Idea for a future video that could spin off of this one...Zack M.F. Hill!!! From Hella, El Grupo Nuevo de Omar Rodriguez Lopez (his best work by a mile in my opinion, you could do a whole video on that album alone), Goon Moon, Wavves, death grips (blah) & many more. The reason I say this is because A. He's a fucking beast, one of the best and underrated drummers ever & B. I've looked for videos about him before and there's just not much out there (kind of like Team Sleep lol), well there definitely should be and it should be quality and I believe you're the man for the job. I got many more ideas if you want to hear them. I would do it myself but I have no clue about making them and I couldn't do it justice, I've got the knowledge but no video making skills, so let me know if you want to hear them. Thanks for what you're doing though seriously, good stuff for sure.
