Worse on Blaze for being royalty and showing no retraint in her profiling lol.

@@CJSai64 Yeah, exactly. As a matter of fact, the Sonic wiki also describes him as "not stupid, but a slow thinker". He's also described as having a low attention span. But he's definitely not stupid. XD But yeah, it felt rather out of character for Blaze even if tanuki are known to be tricksters in Japanese folklore. But yeah, I think most of the hate for Big comes from his playstyle in Sonic Adventure. I don't like his playstyle either, but I don't mind Big as a character.

The ONLY element of his story that is significant to the Last Story is the fact that the Tornado and thus the last Emerald was on his house. Heh, sorry to make Vector greedy in the parody again, just thought him learning from all the betrayals in the past was funnier then using the "He was hired to investigate all along" twist. But yeah, thank goodness this is better written then Free Riders in this game. For all the gripes I might have, at least the entire cast is likable or at worst still tolerable. Free riders was full blown character assasination for everyone. The fact Iizuka himself was brought on for fixing up the character dialogue there is still deeply troubling me. Either that shows us how spectacularly off he is at understanding his own series, or the original script was nightmarishly worse.

Dr. Detective Mike God, Free Riders. Good thing I wasn’t in the fandom when this shit came out, this as the sequel Zero Gravity or even the original Riders would have made me flip my shit in every way imaginable. Just the fact that they replaced the fully animated cutscenes with this talking head junk says it all. Not to mention the way they characterized everyone and how the plot is a whole bunch of nothing. Easily one of the worst stories to ever be put into a Sonic game.

You have accurately portrayed how nonsensical this game was, thank you XD The Zavok part really got me, I was glad to see I wasn't the only one who was completely baffled by his inclusion in this game. It really does seem like Sega just forgot about Lost World. Which I mean... I wish I could forget about that game but, it DID happen and it established that Zavok hates Robotnik arguably more than he hates Sonic. I'm also glad you put Cream, Espio, and Charmy in here because no real reason is given as to why they're not in this game. I mean, a collection of Chao and Omochao replaced a perfectly fine character and none of the other characters bring it up ever. That was bizarre. And Espio and Charmy are just not here, but Espio is doing vital research about the new character offscreen. And in the 1st Riders, we got to go with Storm (after he dropped out of the race) to Robotnik's base and steal his files. So why couldn't Espio be in the actual game like Storm was despite being booted out of the actual races??? Basically, this whole game was weird, thank you for driving that point home here XD

To be fair, Espio and Charmy are mentioned, there's a plottwist later where we learn Vector wasn't interested in the price money and was hired by Tails to do research on Dodonpa. Espio and Charmy do their research elsewhere. That said, it's clearly just the developers picking their favorite characters and only then making excuses. Team Sonic racing really could have used a ton more racers yeah. If you're going to throw all the other Sega characters out the window, at least replace them with a boatload of Sonic material then. Now only half of the racers and racetracks we got are actually not recycled what we already had in the games that had the other Sega cast in. That's just sad.

I think the reason they used Zavok was that he's popular in Japan. I could be wrong though... That being said, if they wanted another minion for Eggman, other than Metal Sonic, they could've used Nack the Weasel or Infinite the Jackal. Both of them are mercenaries. I could see Nack in it for the money, while Infinite would want another go at Shadow and Sonic. Hell, Nack's car could be similar to his Marvelous Queen!

Chao Arata Done right too. Vector is the kind of guy who I imagine is goofy 90% of the time, but when he goes all out, he’s an absolute badass, sort of like Detective Kogoro Mori from Detective Conan.

Roger van der Weide Funny story, I actually wrote a parody fanfic about that at some point, except that Sonic was Conan and he was turned into Classic Sonic by Knuckles and Shadow, so everybody treated him like a new character. Eggman was Inspector Megure and Big was Takagi which was why the police was always so ineffective, Vector was Kogoro, Tails was Professor Agasa, Amy was Ran, Silver was Heiji, Cream was Ai and Rouge was Vermouth and tricked Knuckles and Shadow into thinking they were doing a parody of Panty&Stocking so she could gawk at the transformation scenes. Anokata turned out to be an evil Italian Tails from another dimension who was then attacked by Alle Everyone(you know him). I mean, Vector literally references Detective Conan in the Japanese dub of Sonic X, this clusterfuck of a fanfic basically wrote itself.
