Bass Boat Saver / Retro I have 2 Garmins. Don't have time to dive into all the o irons available but for ease of use, looks and screen clarity, I love it! Keep the vids coming. I love this one. I am not a big time tourney fisherman due to time constraints and family constraints, but I love all of your vids! Well most of them, but I like the fact you don't try to force your opinion and thoughts on your viewers!! Keep it going!

Run full Garmin setup including TM for the last 6yrs. Have had two on the water issues, both on Sundays. Called Garmin. Got an English speaking customer service rep both times. Both issues were solved on the water in less than 30 minutes. Great products, great customer service. Garmin

I agree with Lowrance's customer service. The wait is horrible, but i was one the lucky ones. I returned a refurbished 9 live and explained to them what was going on, and I consider myself a guru on lowrance products. They gave me an RA#. I shipped with insurance at my cost, and 2 weeks later, a 12 live was on the front porch.

I fished with Lowrance for 20 years. This year I switched to Garmin and really love them. Kind of a learning curve but I think they will do well. I am not a fan of FFS but the rest of the options are great !

I run Humminbird/Minn Kota because I was once one of their pro-staff and know the product. Four screens, 360, Live etc. I have considered adding one Garmin for Panoptix only but starting to get better with Live as I learn more. Bass Boat Saver!!

Bass Boat Saver, RETRO & I have been happy with Humminbird customer service. Vexilar is great too. Two birds on board and a Vexilar on the console with Alumaducer can't be beat.

Humminbird/minn kota has given me awesome support, I've only been with them for 5 years though. If humminbird could get ahead on their live, I believe humminbird and garmin would push lowrance to the wayside.

I have recently got a new boat and went with Lowrance and Garmin. Prior I have used Garmin exclusively for the last 10 years. I have had more problems with the 2 Lowrance pro units in the month than I have had with Garmin my entire time. The lcd screen will burn your hands on a hot day!! Connectivity issues with ghost and radio. The 2d and side imaging is good.

I’m a 56 yr old new to the sport and I looked at all three. Trying to learn this graph world, Garmin’s is the easiest to learn , hummingbird is the nicest mapping. Lowrance is by far the hardest to understand how it works

I run lowrance ghost trolling motor with the 3-1 nose cone and two hds lives (9 on consol and 12 on the front) with AT2. Love every bit of it from the 360 to live to auto pilot. Looking forward to adding a 10 pro to the console and move the 9 to the front for mapping. I’m relatively new to the high speed technology side of fishing but so far there’s no complaints about Lowrance

Im a Lowrance guy through and through. Just finished upgrading all the graphs on my boat last week. I replacing the 3 HDS-9 live units on my Phoenix 920 elite with 2 HDS Pro 10 at the console and one HDS Pro 12 at the bow. Nearly 9k in graphs should speak to how much I enjoy Lowrance units. Im hoping these pro units will be worth the price for me. Ive been excited to get out on the water and tinker with the units more and tomorrow will be the day.

I have Garmin and HB 12" units. HB at the helm for mapping and SI. HB at the bow for mapping, SI, and DI and Garmin for LS. Garmin Force trolling motor and I can say without a doubt Garmin customer service is the BEST. I've been using BBS for years and love the stuff.

I like the Garmin for ease of use, and the simple fact. All you need is in one package, the only package. Touch screen SI/DI & 2D. Quick draw and network able etc. With humminbird have multiple models to sort through to get the one you need. And Garmin are still competitive in pricing. I have a Helix 9 & 10 Ultera with I Pilot link. Plus 2 106 and a sv93, with the livescope. They all have there place.

i had a H.B. Onix 10 that had limited use but gave an error code fall of 2023 and since they don't manufacture the Onix line they could not do anything. I did have great customer service, got right through, the person tried to help me re-boot the unit but didn't help. Gamin 126 has been great for live scope, like you said easy to upgrade. Next boat will have all Garmin units, thanks for your insight

Garmin for live, Humminbird for everything else.. As a die hard Lowrance guy previously, I do miss the waypoint management. Really wish Hummingbird would change that about their waypoint management thing. But as a first responder and doing alot of water rescue and recovery, Hummingbird is the best for SI and DI.

I run 3 Garmins, two 93SV one at dash and one up front networked, and a 106SV in an Arclab shuttle with the live scope. I have had Lowrance and hummingbird and I like the mapping on Garmin best. No extra map chip needed. Setting all different colors for contours and having the management of my waypoints through the Garmin active captain app on my phone and iPad. When I upgrade my trolling motor it will be the Garmin Kraken.

I'll take my hummigbird all the way. Like you said their GPS and mapping is top notch. Even though they're mega live is average when I pair it with my 360 its unbeatable plus with mega live I don't have the black box with all the wires an extra batteries

I've owned all three. Garmin is the best all around. Lowrance is really good too. I'm running HDS Pros and Active target 2. The image is cleaner on Lowrance. Garmin has the better color palettes. Hummingbird has the best side imaging by a hair. For the money buy Garmin.

In the last 6 years, I have had 4 different boats. Each one of them, came with Humminbird units. I add 3 Garmins to them always. 2 at the bow and one at the console. At the console, I have one for mapping and the other for SI or down imaging. At the bow, the Garmin units are for panoptix livescope and the other for SI, DI, 2D.

Have Lowrance and I’ve been lucky I guess (knock on wood). Couple years back had a TI2 act up, sent it in and got a quick replacement for no charge. However I talked to a guy in California and guess those days are over. I bought due to cost and just brand recognition since even though I was 62 at the time, I was new to bass fishing. I really didn’t know anything about any of the other brands or Lowrance other than name.

My Lowrance would turn itself on without me knowing til i was ready to go fishing and the battery would be dead. I called them and they were great!! Sent it back, and they sent me a new unit. I have double everything now. (accessories)👍🏻

My uncle has a Lowrance on his Lake Michigan boat. Completely separate power connection to the battery. The marine radio also has a completely separate connection to the battery and they are mounted on opposite sides of the boat from each other. You have to turn off the Lowrance before you key the mic or it blows the fuse for the Lowrance. If you wrap the Lowrance in tinfoil with it on, you can key the mic all day and it does not blow the fuse. Called Lowrance as it obviously has an EMI issue and they said it is not their problem and that it is a problem with the radio. When I told them about the tinfoil shielding it, they told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. When I told them I was an electrical engineer, they ended the conversation! Will never put one of those on my boat.
