As a noobie to the RC world, I found this video to be one of the most informative I have watched so far. But I wish I had seen it a couple crashes ago! 😆😋

I couldn’t figure out why AS3X didn’t seem to be active on my new Sukhoi. I had no idea about the throttle needing to get to at least 50%. Thank you. Ive been out of RC for a decade, a lot has changed... for the good.

"Transmitters are like the U.S. Marines, first in - last out..." Best info in the entire video for this ol' head - young pilot. Lol

Hi Mike, I really enjoy and appreciate your Team Tech Tips. I've learned a lot so far and look forward to more. If I might make one suggestion or request it's that you create the videos using a separate microphone attached to your body. It does require some investment and know-how, but your audience's ability to hear and understand your message will improve significantly. Again, thanks so much for your work and for reading this unsolicited suggestion. Best, Gilbert

Thank you so much! I am new to AS3X Technology, and up until this video, I was wondering what that hum of the servos was all about when I moved the plane (when it was on and previously throttled up). Thanks again, looks like everything's working with my new Parkzone Sport Cub S2!!!

Great video, I just picked up this plane and did my maiden tonight... I have my flaps set at 3 stage with 2 switch ... 25% 50% AND 100% .. at 25% it took off I'm not sure if it even rolled... did a flip and slapped it into the ground ... little nose booboo but no big deal.. tough little plane....My ? for you is ... what are your suggested flap setting .. ? I'm thinking the way I have it set up ... 5% 10% and 15% at most... any feed back would be great...

All control surfaces are working except the rudder & flaps. Any ideas as to what could be wrong. Re-binding did ynot help.

For being a basic learn to bind video I seemed to have missed the part where you tell us when and where to place the bind plug and once bound what to do next with the bind plug.

Always DOUBLE CHECK your AS3X that it is correcting properly by tilting the plane and watching which way the aireolons function. I have heard of guys not checking that too.

I was one of those "guys" just this past weekend, and as a new flyer quickly realized it once in flight (talk about an oh-sh*& moment - lol). Needless to say I'm working on a pre-flt checklist that I'm going laminate and affix to the xmtr. Luckily I managed to bring the plane back to me, then land (if you can call it that) with just broken landing gear! Thanks for the reminder!

Mike, I put a AR636 6-Channel AS3X® Sport Receiver (SPMAR636) in a Bip plane and love it. It said to make any changes do not change setting in my DX 8. Make change's in the 636. I also have a Blade® mCP X BL (BLH3980) w/AS3X. Do I turn on the AS3X as in your video above and to change setting do I do it in my DX 8 or the rx. Thank you for any info. Greg

When i activate the AS3X on my Night Radian the controls are backwards when testing ,,How do i reverse this action
@joshwideman74875 жыл бұрын
Don't you need to level the aircraft before activating the AS3X system?

Most of this video is an exercise in stating the bleeding obvious. We don't need platitudes on safety, binding, bets procedures, so forth. What we want to know is how to set the rates on each axis.....

So how do I assign it to a switch so I can turn AS3x off, how about changing the values on the As3x so I can fly more in control? Another crummy video.

Sorry Bob, spectrum doesn’t like clear concise directions especially on how to program receivers

what does sitting in a dune buggy have to do with as3x setup?

He was demonstrating that with many things in life we go through a set sequence of procedural steps, e.g. putting on a set belt, checking mirrors and adjusting if necessary. His example of the dune buggy was a safety sequence. But the sequence of steps, each time every time was his point.
