I will stay home in the warm watching netflix on me big telly snuggled up i caught enough for me all spring summer and autumn.....its xmas.. fireworks.. halloween...party time....give the banks time to repair....chill....be warm....be happy. Be excited and genuinely buzzing for it next march is my advice.

The one thing I wish trakker had done was make the skull cap on the tempest bigger . The peak should stick out a few inches more to stop rain and the cap should of covered the whole bivvy to stop condensation on the sides

Here's my top tip, go get a bucket bbq from b&q for £7 buy a bag of smokeless charcoal for a fiver and keep it lit the whole wkd, it comes with a sturdy stand and sits nicely next to your bedchair all thru the night 🤗

Just dont fall asleep with ya door up as you wont be waking up ever again or get a carbon monoxide detector just incase or better still just wrap up in warmer gear so you wont have to have a bbq inside ya bivvy 😂

@@johnshrimpton135 I never sleep with my door closed and even if I did you would not die of carbon monoxide poisoning while using charcoal. And I can only presume you don't fish winters cos there is no gear at all that keeps you totally warm while fishing in freezing temperatures, a little bbq kept lit makes a massive difference and it also prevents any condensation inside the bivvy.

Well tell that to the guy who died of carbon monoxide poisoning (lack of oxygen) after he'd left his gas stove on and fell asleep in his bivvy with the door zipped up and he wasnt stoned or pissed up , like I said before if you want to take the risk then fucking crack on pal , giving advice on something that could save someones life and you're arguing the toss over it !

Nigel Jinks I have had plenty of fish out during the winter months, in fact I prefer the winter. I had one of my best trips this year in February on one of my waters and good because the banks are less busy with all the fair weather fairies at home
