Before it used to be checkers meaning the greatest and most skilled athletes always won but now you look at players like jokic and luka who don’t rely on elite athleticism at all. They have a combined vertical of a single player like Lebron or ant lol I exaggerate but it’s closer than you might think. I know these other teams don’t all have a jokic or luka but they do have players that think similarly and play the game with intelligence. Still on paper USA should have the advantage across the board in essentially every category.
