I lost my mother suddenly three years ago and I still remember the pain that you're talking about and it's true that everything else in your life - even assassination attempts of political figures - suddenly becomes nonimportant when you're actually dealing with real tragedy in your own life. I'm a lifelong diehard Cowboys fan and I didn't watch any games that whole season and gave up my fandom because I wanted my Sundays to be with my family and friends. Take time through the grieving process - there's no playbook for it as you mentioned. Thank you for being comfortable to share and turning it into a positive message for your viewers.

i get it, it helps nick to be a contrarian, but the dream team is a better team than this years is. Barkley was 25/11 the season before, Robinson was 23/12 with 4 blocks and was DPOTY also finished 3rd in mvp voting, Magic, despite being old, had 20pts/13ast/7rebs, Malone was 28pts/11 rebs for the season, Bird (despite being old) averaged 20 pts/10rebs and shot 40% from 3, ewing was 27/11, Drexler was even 25 pts/ 6ast/ 7rebs the season leading into those olympics. Oh yeah, they also had this guy named Michael Jordan who was very much in his prime in 1992.
