Honestly I think it's so great everyone is given basically an entire athletic wardrobe. No one will have to be without anything they need. I know athletes are sponsored and have some money for gear but I'm sure most still find a lot of use out of these items!!

Allie, First Congrats on making another Team USA in case I haven't already said that. Next, I'm glad that USATF and Nike were so generous with the gear. I realize that it may SEEM like you got way more than you think you need. But as I recall one of the best things about Worlds was swapping some items after the race with some of the new friends I am sure you will make from around the world. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a vast collection. Be fierce over there!

When they send your gear in a full suitcase......Woo Hoo! I don't think you are going to need to go shopping for clothes for quite awhile! The gear is awesome.....as are you, for which you will look really sharp as you run really well. When you put everything on, that was a wonderful combination of silly and adorable. Seeing you surprisingly be able to move around in everything, you reminded me of when I was growing up in Michigan, as in winter time, to prepare for the 1/2 mile trek to elementary school, I had to put on snow pants, my jacket, boots, hat, gloves, and then would say...."Hey mom.......I have to go to the bathroom!" Last week I had a knee surgery that a lot was done, and everything is great. I couldn't believe it, I didn't need crutches, no brace, and had a wrap on for 4 days and that was it. I am doing PT and should be back to running in 5 weeks or so. Allie O....great video, and both you and the gear look amazing. Enjoy all that you are doing, and you will truly have a great experience at the world championships!
