HVL set herself up to fail. She was at Louisville as the team’s premier scorer at the 2 guard. She decided to transfer to LSU, a team with a prolific 2 already (Flaujae) to learn the point position. She got exposed for the same bad defense and turnovers she had at Louisville

There’s never a time to rest for a second. And because they go 100 mph at all times the game just looks sloppy. When they’re missing the majority of their shots the game is simply unwatchable. The entire game I’m wondering why they’re always pressing up in the 3point line when they can’t really shoot long range. Then the ball handler simply drives for a lay up. But they miss those too. Again, it’s just all sloppy, like watching a boys middle school pick up game.

HVL needs to jump on her jumpshots holy hell. She handles and can penetrate and get by past her defender better than most WNBA players, but if she can't elevate on her jumpshot she has no chance.

idk she is really slow on the dribble. like most people would dribble maybe twice from top of the key to a lay up, hvl bounces it 8 times and isnt even halfway to the basket yet.. She keeps getting slammed when she drives the lane, needs an outside shot and just be faster inside and put some stank on it. rooting for her!

@paveclaw3865 I don't think she's slow. I think compared to her peers if not WNBA talent in general she is an excellent penetrator. When I watch her play she most definitely has the ability to generate quality shots more often than her peers. That's why I root for her, because I know in this regard she is a step up over the WNBA. But she's just not finishing enough. And it's because of that terrible jumpshot they teach girls
