USA won every single one of the last 4 Olympics. USA has 16 Gold Medals, Soviet Union 2, Yugoslavia 1 and Argentina 1. Soviet Union and Yugoslavia don't even exist anymore and Argentina didn't even qualify this year. And nobody else ever won even one single Gold Medal. I really don't see the problem.

Just wanna point it out, Kari (Serbian coach) is a very experienced and meticulous coach. He stated that he saw the match vs USA as two halves, where the second half was experimentation to craft what works, which was very clearly seen in the score difference compared to the first half. We were also missing 4 starters. I wouldn't count out Serbia just yet, as I think the first half is closer to what they have to offer than the rest. I'm aware USA wasn't trying much either, but I'm excited to see how it turns out when it's for real.

The 2 NBA players on our starting 5 that are used to high intensity 48-minute games didn't play either. We played terribly for most of the game but I just wanna let it be known that the 1st quarter is much closer to what we're used to seeing out of them dudes. Euroleague followers will know and that's it

I have nothing but respect for Serbian basketball, and you're right the match was more about experimenting and testing than really competing. What should be concerning tho, is Steph. For 10 years every NBA team has known: If Steph is free, they cannot win. I can't overstate the commitment every team makes to try and slow Curry down. I don't think it's possible for teams to prepare who haven't experienced it. Warriors broke the NBA completely when it came together.

You haven’t been watching. You do realize that Steph/Lebron roll w holiday-Embiid-will be Kd is lethal. There is no good answer. Double Steph then Lebron is on the short roll driving. He can’t either send it to holiday/durant for a high percentage 3. Or he can dump it off to embid or he can drive with little resistant. All of those options are destructive. If you don’t double Steph, he’s more than likely getting an open 3pt look. His threes fall at a high percentage. You have an AD-Bam combo that’s destroying any European bench in the interior. Europeans teams are solid on O. USA has more weapons. They will also have the conditioning advantage. They can go 12 deep. Europeans teams can’t.
