Excellent vids on the two Warsaw Pact starters, was trying to decide which to pick up and it helped a lot. Thank you!

Nice review, I haven't encountered those who look under your model, I do know the ones that critically check the back of 28mm shields.

Build done. The paint hits the models this weekend! Great box set. Jon I pre-ordered and ran into delays too.

Are you in the US? I had the hardest time finding them but finally scored them at Miniature Market

@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall No, I'm in Canada. I called 3 weeks after the scheduled release date and they told they were waiting on stock. Supply chain issues I guess.

Great vid, nice box. Hope you manage to get a game in with these vs Mark's Brits. Jake seems not so keen on the TY vibe?

It's on the schedule. Mark and I should be playing soon!

Thanks for the video. I have some T-80s and T-64s from earlier starter boxes and boxed set as well as some T-72 without ERA. I'm trying to decide if I want this box or two or just get the new T-72 boxes to build T-72Bs. I don't know if I want the T-55AMs or maybe make them as an earlier version T-55 for Arab-Israeli wars. I'm also interested in your SU-22 Fitter review before I decide. It sounded like the T-72B and Fitter also comes with Soviet cards. Is that correct? If you plan to use these models as Soviet do you need the Warsaw Pact book?

When can we expect to see a battle report with the T-72Bs?

Hopefully soon, Mark and are a scheming. I think it will be Brits versus Polish.

We've played a couple of games now, using the T-72B's and T-55AM's from this set against West Germans. That T-72B isn't a bad assault tank. I think I want a 2nd box of this now, so I can do a 3 platoon Soviet force

@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall Soviets, so we could only do 2 platoons of T-72B's plus the HQ. I filled out the rest of the formation with BMP-2 Mech infantry, Tunguskas, and Carnations. Support was T-72A's, T-55AM's, Storms and a BMP-1 OP. I'm busily painting up some Gaskins, Gophers, Shilkas, Spandrels and Dana's so we can try Warsaw Pact instead

@@michaelwain3198Sounds like an interesting opposing force to play against, now after the release of ”Nordic Forces” supplement. 😀

since my post, I've bought a total of 3 T-72B starter army deals, including one last week. Last's week's was to get some T-72's for the Finns and some extra Hinds. For Warsaw Pact, the plan is 13 T-72B's (1 HQ and 3 platoons of 4 tanks). I've also got some T-64BV's to try out with my Soviets @@senint

T-72B is a nice easy to build kit. The Academy plane not so nice, but as expected.

Old T55 all the way

I've built several vintage model kits, enough to know that that SU-17 looks like a vintage tool. Like one form the 80s. Kinda a poor choice on Battlefront's part.

I mean it's not the best but it's not horrible. I've actually found the plastic SU-25 model to be worse then this one. I'm sure it will paint up nice.
