Jake has a loyalty to Logan that Logan has never had with Jake. I am the younger sibling and I fully understand his feelings. The elder sibling tends to be most concerned with being the smartest and most accomplished in meaningless realms. The youngest tend to be most concerned with family harmony and love. Elder siblings want to demolish their younger siblings at every turn. Jake hiding his feelings and keeping things behind the scenes is very much so youngest sibling behaviour. We get stomped all over until we are older and can actually stand up for ourselves. Then we punish the eldest for their sins against us and the family. We are very loving but do not mistake that for weakness. I’m proud of Jake for how much he has grown and how he handled this situation. Youngest siblings rule. Do you brother.

Glad I watched this, Jake is definitely not the guy that the internet wanted to paint him as at some point. Also, some very relatable stuff. I was always praised by my teachers, "you can do anything you want in life, please don't waste your talents" they would say, but that meant nothing to me because the person I needed to hear that from was my father, who never ever gave me a single compliment about anything. When I won a swimming prize on 4th grade and my mom told him about it, he just shouted "Well who was it that constantly took him to swimming halls as a child? Me! Of course he's good at it, he better be!" When I became good at something he had absolutely no understanding of, and completely on my own, he would tell me it's a worthless skill (programming, pencil/charcoal art, basketball/soccer). It was really hard to have any dreams or think I could make it on any path, so I kinda just didn't even try.

George Janko as a permanent member on the podcast is a great idea. He is grounded, asks the right questions and has the exact personality needed for this team. I believe that even if you disregard Janko's past with Logan and the Impaulsive crew, Janko has proven to be this great person that is open minded and listens to others without any prejudice or a curated scheme tailored for attention and clicks. And yea, even if our biases get the best of us and we have to consider his role on the Impaulsive channel, it is undeniably clear that he was never in any wrong. Unlike Logan's partnership with KSI, an 'enemy,' George just happens to have a bad history with Logan and it is not like he was hired for the soul purpose of giving Logan a taste of his own medicine. Ultimately, it is up to you and the crew, but I think a large portion of your true supporters can vouch for Janko's position on this podcast and his addition is the change required to summit this mountain of betterment.
