At the end if the combo, link iff the Pyro phoenix and the Familiar into Sunlight Wolf instead of going for S:P With only 1 fire monster on the field, you'll be left with an empty board at the start of their turn, meaning if you go Cl1 tribute wolf target Phoenix, you dont lose to Cl2 droplet send Phoenix (You do still lose to Cl1 droplet send Phoenix negate wolf though, but people often miss that)

You can do the ftk much more consistently with Less cards with pure salad… I guess the surprise factor got him to the top tables .. the deck lost to singular hand traps

Even without the ftk I like the snake eye stuff to bridge into the salad and potentially set up an appo before combo. Seems legit

Yeah but it wouldn’t be able to play thru hand traps as well without it. Salad plays thru droll, ash, veiler, mourner, Imperm. Snake eyes plays thru nib

not gonna lie im actually curious about this deck and will probably try it at some point.. try it out at the local level but congratulations on the top 32. Did you usually start with the snake eye engine first then turn to the salad engine?

Honestly it really depends on your hands as to which engine you go into first. Also depends on what deck your playing when it gets to games 2 & 3. The deck is meant to play through 2-3 HT’s and then either Ftk or setup a decent board depending on what you got hit with and what you have left
