So what you need to do-you have a chef, right? like a personal chef?-make sure the chef makes you a lot of chicken breast. And make sure you keep your caloric intake at a certain level. And as you go to your physician 2-3 times a week-just to monitor all your testosterone levels-because testosterone is important to building muscle. You’re good friends with the trainer from Magic Mike? Arin Babaian. So you want to give Arin a call. And you want to make sure he’s at your house and takes you to the gym at least twice a day, because you’re gonna want to do your muscle-building in the morning and then your cardio in the afternoon. @vashisth sharma I think, unless you have a shitty metabolism, it's not that hard if that's what you spend your time doing. It's not rocket science. If you stop eating trash constantly, eat the right stuff for the results you want, and spend a significant amount of time doing goal orientated exercise, you will get fit. People act like it's magic, it's impressive because it means you dedicated time and effort to making it happen, just like if you built a boat, or painted a picture, a fit person just decided to dedicate their time to working on their fitness. That's one of their hobbies, and from what I can tell (again individual body workings aside) you get what you put into it.
@Lurklen4 жыл бұрын
@vashisth sharma 70-80 percent of what population? The world? Cause I doubt that's true, but even if it is, that still means between 2278200000 to 1518800000 people don't have a normal metabolism, which isn't a small number. There are lots of reasons someone might not metabolize food properly, and those can all affect weight loss/gain, muscle growth/loss, and limit how they can shape their body. That's not to say they can't lose weight/build muscle, or whatever it is they're trying to do. It just means a lot of those people are going to have to do extra work to figure out how their body gets there, cause the usual path won't work for them (it will produce different, and often frustrating results). But in general, yeah, I agree. For people in normal bounds you just need to actually think about what results you want (I think this is often the hardest part for people, often they just want to be "fit" which can be a bunch of different things for different people based on what they actually want to do with their body) and eat and act accordingly. It takes work, but it isn't impossible, or at least often no more so than any other skill. (The next hardest part is actually doing it, but that's true for any skill too. You're never gonna get better at painting if you don't actually set aside time to learn, and most importantly actually paint. Health is no different.) And yeah, for the most part, if you eat garbage, it's going to catch up with you. It's a mystery to me why people don't get that. I don't eat a pizza and then go "Why do I feel like my blood is made of grease?" I know what trash I've put in my body, and just deal with the consequences. Which I mean, whatever, if people want to eat garbage, I get it, it's tasty, just don't be surprised when you jiggle more than you used to.

The consistently funny thing about this bit is that Mac worked his ass off to get this amazing body and then when he got it his friends and nobody cared and thought he was just weird about it. It's a good commentary on real-life where people who get into body building start to care waaay more about physique than other people, and how most people don't really recognize the difference in effort that getting to 5%, 10% and 15% body fat is.
